...a possible risky thing with regards to getting infected with Hep? I've personally never done the Botox thing because I'd already been infected with Hep C and knew about it the Hep; when Botox became popular. It just didn't feel like something I felt comfortable with the idea of having someone inject me with a known toxin just to get rid of wrinkles. To me, in that instance, the risk was not worth losing a few wrinkles over.
i recently accidently produced wrinkles under my eyes from trying to rub soap out of my eyes in the shower, the soap , and i tried getting it out in the shower by rubbing my eyes because they were stinging and since soap on skin creates a lot of friction i discovered i got wrinkles the next day and the skin under my eyes its a bit more corse than usual. i must of stretched the fibres of my skin im only 20.
The skin on my cheek peeled off nicely, however the skin under my eye looks as if I have more wrinkles now (the skin did not peel off directly under eye but around eyes). When I put the 5% glycolic acid cream on I did not use any moisturizer and skin seemed tight for a few days (I was afraid to put anything on the skin at that point). My question is did I cause a permanent damage and will have these wrinkles under eyes permanently?
I have lines by my mouth when I stop smiling and if I look closely lines by my eyes and the corner of my lips and lines under my eyes. I'm only 22 and both of my parents looks young and don't have any wrinkles...I'm scared about what I'll look like at 30!is there any way to get rid of this? is this normal? are they going to get deeper as time go by?
BTW , they're even on my cheeks when I smile, I have a thyroid problem ?
am I going to take some *hit over this one but yes I have used Botox a few times for my forehead wrinkles but I wear bangs so not something I will do again ... and during one of my daughter's stints in rehab I had my eyes done. I did it because I was so tired of people saying "are you tired" " you look tired" "are you not sleeping?" Well no as a matter of fact my daughter is an oxy addict and I haven't slept in months!!

Also, did you know that people get botox in their hands to stop the sweating? It paralyzies the nerves. It proabably lasts around 2 to 3 months just like it does when someone gets it in their forehead for wrinkles. I'm so sorry you have this problem. Have you seen a dr and asked him if what might be causing this? I wish you all the best.
t look like it affects the lower eyelid at all. (I mean, the soft tissue in the space on the face under the eye is considered lower than the actual eyelid, right?)
Also, just FYI, I don't feel or experience anything from the twitching; I just notice it when looking in the mirror. It makes me self-conscious, but I also wonder whether my symptom still fits the description of typical eye/eyelid twitching.
Hello. I recently (2 wks ago) recieved a minimal amount of botox in my forehead. I knew at the time that I wanted to get pregnant soon & researched the risks but couldn't get any clear info on whether or not it would be harmful to a fetus if I recieved the botox BEFORE actually getting pregnant. The Dr. who injected the botox seems to believe that it is safe for me to try & get pregnant right away. Now that I have had it I feel that it was a mistake.
I am wondering if it could be pressing on a nerve or if the botox could have somehow caused the pain. The manufacturer, Allergan, naturally, says this does not happen. I am in severe pain and unable to get relief except when asleep. Pain meds taken so far are not helping. I am also a cancer survivor and single mom with 2 kids at home so I need some answers. Thank you.
s night moisturizer for dry skin and an eye moisturizer around my eyes. When I woke up, I had these incredibly deep under-eye wrinkles that just sprung up out of nowhere, wrinkles on my eyelids, they were very painful and even more dry than the day before.
I put some vaseline on them to help moisturize them but it's only gotten worse. One eye is fine but still a bit sensitive, but the other eye is getting worse.
