Hey Rick - had a similar situation where it one instance caused a long horizontal line under my eye - it's hard to believe that one instance of rubbing could be permanent but any advice on your situation would be super appreciated. How did it turn out?
The skin on my cheek peeled off nicely, however the skin under my eye looks as if I have more wrinkles now (the skin did not peel off directly under eye but around eyes). When I put the 5% glycolic acid cream on I did not use any moisturizer and skin seemed tight for a few days (I was afraid to put anything on the skin at that point). My question is did I cause a permanent damage and will have these wrinkles under eyes permanently?

The advertised creams have not proved in efficacy to tackle under eye wrinkles. For undereye wrinkles, botox shots and collagen fillers have proven to be very effective and hence I suggest you to consult a dermatologist and discuss it in detail.

Hi, I have used salicylic acid face wash heavily along with Benzoyl Peroxide, my skin type is really sensitive. My under eyes have gonna really red and burt and left me with deep wrinkles when smiling, one of the eyes have completely recovered as it didn't have much deep wrinkles, although the other eye looks really wrinkly and the wrinkles look deep, I am only 21 and my skin was like baby's skin, didn't have any wrinkles before the bp use.
What is the best thing for dark under eye circles? I've always had them. I can get 12 hours of sleep and still wake up with them. I also have crows feet and I'm only 26 years old. What can I use for the dark circles and wrinkles by my eyes?
I had pink eye about 4 weeks ago and was given eye drops to use Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Solution USP. Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. I dont know what has happen to me can someone plese help?
almost like it was sunburn (i have not been in the sun). 6 hours later, i was horrified to see a bunch of wrinkles under my eyes...well defined and they were not there previously. i immediately thought of allergy, and have been on benydril since, and while the condition is no worse, the eye wrinkles are still quite prevailing. any thoughts?

Hi, I have this extra skin over my right eye which I do not have on my left eye. This flab of skin causes my right eyelid to fold at the wrong place (meaning, a little lower than where my left eyelid folds). It makes my eyes look like they're different sizes and it looks really weird. From far away it may seem as if my eyes are misaligned, but they really aren't! It's just that annoying flab of skin over my eye! I'd REALLY like to fix this problem, please help.
what do u think is better to use to remove access discharge a klenex or a washcloth cause i used a klenex on my right eye and it scratched my eye now i have a huge visible scratch right at my eye which looks awful i dont know what to do?? can u reciev wrinkles from rubbing your lower lash line with a washcloth i thought that was ok to do??
s night moisturizer for dry skin and an eye moisturizer around my eyes. When I woke up, I had these incredibly deep under-eye wrinkles that just sprung up out of nowhere, wrinkles on my eyelids, they were very painful and even more dry than the day before.
I put some vaseline on them to help moisturize them but it's only gotten worse. One eye is fine but still a bit sensitive, but the other eye is getting worse.
Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.

There are many causes of sunken under eyes,the common ones being dehydration,eye conditions like nanophthalmos,microphthalmos,malnutrition,anorexia nervosa,protein losing enteropathy,underactive thyroid gland and lacrimal tumors.
I would suggest you to consult an ophthalmologist and discuss these with him.

The Dr assured me that it was just normal post-op distortion and to keep up my eye drops (antibiotics, anti-inflamatories) and not to worry about following through on the second eye. After the second surgery (right eye), I have a slight double vision in the right eye and the left eye continues to have triple vision. The doctor said to wait a few weeks and that most likely the "wrinkles" would settle themselves out. It has been 5 weeks now and there is no improvement.
Hi I just read your thread about your red swollen eyes after taking a certain medicine. The same thing seems to be happening to me. Can you share with me how you resolved your issue? Nothing is helping. I have tried benadryl, aleggra, cortisone, and prednisone. HELP.
for the past couple months,ive been experiancing dry,itcy patches all around my face& neck...they were red too..i finally made doctor appts, when my eyelids were swelling up with tha dry red patches...she recommended me to an allergist,who diagnosed me with mild eczema... now my concern is i have wrinkles under my lower eyelids! & sometimes puffiness to accompany it..im so stressed out with it...should i use wrinkle creams?
They are on the head, I'm 24, they are constant, I'm monogomous, and they cover the entire head.
Also my vision is very different between the two. My right eye used to be my dominant eye but that has changed. My left eye makes things look very magnified and my right eye seems to be blurry more often than not. Does anybody have any ideas? At first I thought these were suddenly visible veins because a day prior to seeing the lines I felt a throbbing pain under my left eye and when I looked there was a purple broken vein under my left eye. It's not noticeable but it bothers me. It's been like this for 2 years. The left eyelid (the bigger one) has more "space" than the right one. The left eyelid has little tiny wrinkles (I'm 13) and the left eyelid looks more "out" as in it's puffy. When I blink the left eye lid comes a little slower than the right.
Hey all! I haven't been around in awhile due to my hectic schedule this term. Hope all of you are doing well.
In the last 48 hours my lower eye lid has been "contracting" not like other eye twitches I've had where the twitch was pulsating. This actually wrinkles the skin under my eye lashes. I also have a headache in my eye. My eye feels tired as well as around my eye. My eye is sensitive to light...had to wear sunglasses in class today.
Since 3 month i am suffering with this problem and change specialist but some are giving steroids and some anti allergy and eye lubricant. But know one is able to tell the reason why its happening but this is sure its starting always when wakeup in the morning.
Kindly help me if anyone knows about this eye issue.
