Common Questions and Answers about Wrinkles skin care products

wrinkles

Avatar n tn Currently manufacturers of skin products have been trying to provide a wide array of skin care products to suit each skin type. For an individual to get the best skin care, one should follow a particular regimen of cleansing, toning , exfoliating and moisturizing. As one grows older however, exfoliation may damage the thinning skin. Cleansing and moisturizing are still essential as one ages. The use of sunscreen for the face is still a must.
Avatar f tn I did go to a Aesthetician for some regiment to use on my face since I have really never used skin care products. The product that was recommended for my face and the issues I mentioned was Obagi System by NU-Derm. I went with my girlfriend to her Dermatologist and who has the same problems as I and they recommended Revalskin cleanser, SkinCeuticals serum 15, Ultimate UV SPF 30, B5 Gel and Neova Creme De La Copper to her and I.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am 23 years old. I am looking for which products would be best for my skin at this age and help in preventing finelines and wrinkles. Thank you.
Avatar m tn I have a few friends that use products called rodan and fields to repair some damage to their skin- the products seem pretty good, so if you are looking for something to give a try, I'd go with that- but also highly encourage you to have a doctor take a look. I believe you can get the products online if you just google the name. They do have eye cream and products for reversing damage- but I don't recall the name of them. I'm sure that their web site has the info though!
Avatar n tn There is really no single effective product as skin reactions to these products do vary. Wrinkles may be lessened by using moisturizers. These products may smoothen out skin and also improve fine lines over the eyes and near the mouth. Vitamin E cream may be a good choice when used to moisturize. Also, using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 during the day or during prolonged exposure to the sun may help reduce wrinkles.
Avatar n tn I am 47, light complexion and problem area are dry skin wrinkles on forehead, laugh lines and crows feet and under eye lines. I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing.
Avatar f tn What baby skin care products does our new born need? Which company products are good that available in canada.

Avatar f tn Get back to basics--just a couple of non-irritating products. The location of your irritated skin suggests shampoo or face/body cleanser as a likely problem. In 2004, the American Contact Dermatitis Society named a surfactant called Cocamidopropyl betaine as their "contact allergen of the year." High honors, indeed!
Avatar f tn I have always taken pristine care of my skin. I am a very health conscious eater, and drink plenty of water. I do not consume alcohol or caffeine on a regular basis. I protect my skin with a natural 50 spf religiously. I cleanse with a completely chemical free cleanser, and moisturize regularly with unprocessed virgin coconut oil. I never moisturize with products containing mineral oil, fragrances, propylene glycol, etc.
2065676 tn?1331422440 My dermatologist recommended several skin care products for me. One that she recommended was Cetaphil. I use Dermalogica. Dermalogica has a sensitive skin line of products that has been helpful to me. I use all of the products in that line. I'm sure there are other sensitive skin products as well.
Avatar f tn Large pores can be easily dealt with proper cleansing and frequent toning and moisturizing of the skin. Other treatments to consider include microdermabrasion, skin resurfacing lasers and chemical skin peels. In my opinion you should discuss these treatment options with a cosmetologist/dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.

Avatar n tn Hi, Nothing ca be said with surety about any cosmetic skin care products due to the chemicals/ ingredients used by the manufacturer being not very well disclosed. Just see that you should not be allergic to any of its constituents and also it is fine if you have had no problems with it so far. Have you noticed any symptoms lately that might have prompted you to ask these questions. Let us know if you need any other information. Regards.
Avatar m tn Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but here goes. Lately, and by lately I mean for the last two months, I've noticed a redness in the skin around my pubic region underneath my pubic hair. I don't shave down there or anything, I just trim sometimes. I just brushed i off as it being a sweaty area, but lately I've noticed the same redness on the back of my penis.
1323580 tn?1274669941 05 on erasing sun damage to the skin, i have fine wrinkles forming on my forehead there not very deep yet and patches of rough skin(enlarged pores on cheeks and forehead). If it does clear up the wrinkles and pores how long should it take to see some results I'm not always the most patient person. I just finished my first week of using it.
Avatar n tn Chafing occurs when the skin becomes irritated by the friction caused by rubbing – either against other skin or against a foreign material. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments.Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful.
Avatar f tn Some days when I look at my face in the mirror I feel like a 50 year old. The texture of my facial skin looks horrible, my skin is very dry and my facial pores are pretty big. I also have puffiness and black circles under my eyes. My weight is normal, I eat healthy, exercise a lot and take a multivitamin and Complex B. I don't drink, don't smoke, don't tan, don't wear makeup, don't do drugs and don't go out in the sun.
Avatar m tn When I woke up, I had these incredibly deep under-eye wrinkles that just sprung up out of nowhere, wrinkles on my eyelids, they were very painful and even more dry than the day before. I put some vaseline on them to help moisturize them but it's only gotten worse. One eye is fine but still a bit sensitive, but the other eye is getting worse. It's also a very weird and wrinkly texture with a lot of bumps and fine lines on my upper eyelid spreading down to just above my cheek bone.
Avatar m tn Topical treatments for the skin can reduce the look of wrinkles ...whether it costs a buck ninety nine or a thousand dollars an ounce, if it holds in moisture, it can make the skin tissue look a little better. You aren't going to see magic changes from anything you put on your face, but putting on something is better than putting on nothing. Biggest thing for protecting against future skin wrinkles is sunblock.
Avatar m tn I suspect the dry gel has made a thin layer on my skin and it feels like it, like I have a layer of soap that avoids me from feeling direct skin touch. Apart from that, the skin looks like dry and wrinkles too much. I have used moisterising cream, and have bathed intensively, and tried to take the gel out, but I just can't get it off. Any idea how to take it? Besides, i have a wound, and my flesh is exposed and i didn't want to try alcohol for that reason, nor other products.
