It started about 6 months ago when my lips started developing these dry bumps on my upper lip. I tried to exfoliate them to get rid of it and it worked,but then my lips started to leak a weird liquid and it made my lips really tight and dry. I had also noticed my lips had started to get swollen and itchy and sensitive. I didn’t know what to do so i bought at least 30 chapsticks and lip balms trying to figure out whether or not it was just them being dry.
I also told her that the area around my upper lip was really sensitive and dry and somewhat itchy so she gave me the Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Baume (which I think can be used for your whole body as well). After that day I thought my problem would finally have a solution but it was too good to be true. I used the products which made the rest of my skin really nice and i sed the Atoderm Intensive Baum right above and below my lip.
I have stopped this habit about two months ago. It has improved but the mark is still there and causes wrinkles in the middle. Also the new skin seems to be growing quite fast but when it does it starts to peel and falls off, continuing in a cycle of peeling, growing back around the bite mark, then peeling again. I don't try to pick at it but it gets very sensitive.
Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.
A part of the skin on the side of my upper lip is reddish. Its skin is peeling off for quiet awhile. When its skin is peeled off there is some sort of liquid that's oozing out of the reddish skin. The liquid dries quickly and its also easy to peel. Once its peeled more ooze comes out. The color of the ooze is yellow. The formation of the redness is going upwards like the side of a smile.
This happens from time to time.

3 days after the intercourse i started to feel itch and some kind of burning sensation on the top of my upper lip, and pain on both sides of my tongue. The pain on my tongue has gone, but until now, i still feel these burns and itches on top of my upper lip, but oddly no sores at all. My aunt had a visible outbreak on her upper lip. And have my 4 year old a kiss on the cheek before I could say anything. (I freaked after. its not serious reddness its very very light reddness...almost a pink color on my upper cheek from my nose almost out to my ear. Then here is the worst part, around my mouth/lip area it is very pale! Now is this from past sun damage? All the discolorations? My nose is usually always red at the top too. I've never had this problem before I started to sun bed tan. I use a safe oil free spf 15 foundation ( I already checked the product of the ingredients...
But, now i am noticing that the 2 exact same spots are not on my upper lip. When i press my upper and bottom lip together they are identically like touching. Could it be that it spread to my upper lip. What can this be? I have been wearing lipgloss for years. I also have a Baterial cervical infection at the moment.
I had the same problem, stupid dry patch on the upper part of my upper lip and it came out of nowhere. I search the web exhaustively, but everything I tried came to nothing. I finally asked my doctor (!) and told him what I had tried. He rolled his eyes and said "Eucerin." I got the cream in a small tube and used it.
In a week or two....problem solved. Sometimes the patchiness reoccurs, but I just use the Eucerin original cream and it's magic. Try it.
Hello, I have had a flat bump on my bottom lip for about 10 months now. It only appears if I stretch the lip over my teeth (stretching the skin on the lip.) It doesn't raise or change. It occurred about 2 months after giving oral sex. 10 days after i discovered the flat bump on my lip, I discovered a flat bump on the glans of my penis. This bump looks like a flat pimple.
a few days after the allergy i got a rash all over my body and when i did a blood test, i was diagnosed with dengue. the doctor prescribed Fexofenadine Hydrochloride (Allegra) for the rash.....................so i took 10 of them there was no prominent inflammation but today i've seen the top left of my upper lip has gotten a bit swollen and there are minute bumps. i don't have a food allergy. so i don't know what to do about it.

i remember i used to bite my lips and peel the skin of my upper lip with nails.after some time i noticed that upper lip got discoloured like when i laugh i notice a pattern of dark lines on my upper lips.dark line followed by a my natural lip colour and then a dark line.as a whole they look very ugly.i am facing this problem since this day please help!
I have had a swelling that looks like an arch under my lower lip which my dermatologist says it is arciform area of swelling below the lip margin for almost 3 months. The first month she prescribed a cortisone crème to apply twice a day for one month and it hasn't gone away. She then prescribed a steroid ointment (mild) to use for 10 to 14 days 3xday. I am on the 10th day and it hasn't gone away. It is not red, doesn't itch but is so noticeable that I am ashamed to go out.
The thing is that since I started using it my upper lip has become somewhat yellowish in some areas around the the lower side all the way around, and a little even a bit up on the lip. Could this be an effect from the Aloe Vera lip balm? I red something today about Fordyce's Condition and it looks awfully lot like that. I've never seen these spots before and there are plenty of them now. Will they go away or at least be less visible?
