I have had a swelling that looks like an arch under my lower lip which my dermatologist says it is arciform area of swelling below the lip margin for almost 3 months. The first month she prescribed a cortisone crème to apply twice a day for one month and it hasn't gone away. She then prescribed a steroid ointment (mild) to use for 10 to 14 days 3xday. I am on the 10th day and it hasn't gone away. It is not red, doesn't itch but is so noticeable that I am ashamed to go out.
m afraid of something that appeared on my lip about a month and a half to two months ago. I thought my lip just got sunburned but it never went away. My lower lip has turned dark all except for one bright pink spot. I thought it was because of my retin-a for my acne on maybe the anti-biotic I have been taking for my acne.
I have included a picture for further diagnosis. I'd like to know what I have if possible and how to treat it.

Hello, I have had a flat bump on my bottom lip for about 10 months now. It only appears if I stretch the lip over my teeth (stretching the skin on the lip.) It doesn't raise or change. It occurred about 2 months after giving oral sex. 10 days after i discovered the flat bump on my lip, I discovered a flat bump on the glans of my penis. This bump looks like a flat pimple.

I am a 30 year old female and 3 days ago I noticed a pimple-like bump on the vermilion border of my lower lip. When I push my tongue to my lip (as if to stretch it) it feels hard to the touch and becomes white in color. I don't think it is a cold sore (herpes 1) because I have never had anything at all on my lips, it does not look like a blister, it is not clustered with anything else, nor has it began to ooze. Can you in fact have a cold sore without those symptoms?
well i have a bump inside on my lower lip and i have had it for about1 or 2 years and i dont no how it got there i just noticed it there one day and i poped it once and it grew back bigger and harder now i cant even pop it and so i went to the docters and they told me to go to the dentist wat should i do ?

For the last few years I have been dealing with dry skin only on my lower lip, it does not affect my upper lip at all. My lower lip will will dry and the skin will flake off. Or it can actually be peeled off if i use lip balm. I have been taking multi vitamins for atleast a year daily, with no change. I use lip balm daily just to hide it (Burts Bee's). I drink water like a guppy (4-5 cups a day). Im really at a loss here as I cant seem to figure out what could be causing it.
I have a white line on my lower lip, it's almost under my lip. You can't really tell it's there unless I stretch the lip out. Without doing that, it just looks like there is a tiny crease in my lip. I don't know if I've always had this and am just noticing it now, or if it is something new. I gave a guy oral about two weeks ago, so I'm not sure if it has something to do with that. I'm pretty worried though.

I just noticed a small patch of redness on my lower lip. It did burn a bit but it doesn't burn or itch at all now just the occasional pulsing sensation. It wasn't there this morning and I'm worried that it might be herpes. I posted here about a month ago after a possible "exposure" but thus far no sypmtoms or leisons. Could this be herpes finally showing up?
About 7 weeks ago I woke up and noticed a blister type lump on my glans penis, 2 days later, it grew 5 times in size and opened up and there were 2 more small blister type lumps (one of these was on my protruding meatus lip). The tip of the glans penis around the meatus and the open blister type lumps was red raw.
I soaked my glans penis in salt water twice a day for 7 days and 2 of the lumps have completely healed and the glans penis is no longer red raw.
It started about 6 months ago when my lips started developing these dry bumps on my upper lip. I tried to exfoliate them to get rid of it and it worked,but then my lips started to leak a weird liquid and it made my lips really tight and dry. I had also noticed my lips had started to get swollen and itchy and sensitive. Hey, so I've been struggling with this itchy dry skin patch around my lips for almost 2 years now and I still don't know exactly what it is. I can't really remember how it started but I didn't think much of it before. What I do know is that it has been very slowly getting better but it's still existent.
A small lump, looking like a pimple, appeared on my lower lip about 6 months ago. since August 25, it became swolen and looked like a chicken pox bump with a little mocus. I'm 15 years old and for the past few months i have had a dark spot on my lower lip. It is not painful, it does not bleed and it has not grown in size or diameter. I am able to bite/peel it off and it will not bleed but it just grows back. In the mornings my lower lip is extremely dry and my whole lip has peeling skin covering it, and the edges of the dark spot also peel. I don't know what is wrong with it, can anyone help???
The rash is spreaded from my left lower lip all the way to the right lower lip area. So i basically it covers my entire lower lip area, it felt raw and there was a burning sensation yesterday but that has subsided.
The rash is now tender, dry, tight, Flakey and itches mildly to moderately on and off, it is red in appearance and now i am see lighter skin blotches in the rash area. I have not picked at it and i try not to scratch it..

Apply calamine lotion and good quality moisturizers on the face. If the wrinkles persist then botox injections and collagen filling or laser treatment may have to be tried. For this I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

please tell me chances on exposure but the woman did not seem to have dry lips or any apparent cuts only concern is split on my lower lip but i checked only her lower lip and did not check the upper lip but there were no apparent cuts or dry lips in her case....please let me know as i am very tensed and also the earliest i can take a HIV test.....thank you..
