I had this exact same condition on my palms, and so did my little sister. The solution is simple!! I did some research and found out that Drysol (typically used under the arms as an anti-persperant) works to get rid of this. You can find it at any drugstore...and fyi if you have very sweaty underarms it's a miracle drug. Just apply Drysol to your palms before bed, and within a day or two the condition should clear up! I did this and told my sister to as well and we haven't had a problem since.
Hi Loiloi, I don't take contraceptive pills because I am over 40 and smoke. The wrinkles around my eyes seem to get deep on some days and look less severe on others. The weird thing is --- I stopped moisturizing under my eyes for 2 nights and it looked better! How weird was that? Then I had to moisturize because it was way to dry. I have also been losing much hair (I would say about 25%) because you can see my scalp in certain areas.
However if I may say, while I was on it, it did make my face look more youthful and the lines softened and I was really pleased what it did for my face? I noticed on the other post that they talk mostly about loose skin on the arms, what about loose skin or lines on the face?
Ever since I gave birth about 4 months ago, I have been getting these strange lines on the bottom side of my forearm on both arms. The lines look like a bunch of indents. They come and go all throughout the day. I am only 29. I know these are not stretchmarks or wrinkles (even though they do look like wrinkles). Does anyone have a clue what this could be?
I am 5' tall and I have really started seeing my elasticity in my skin change over the last year. I have wrinkles on my forearms that I never had before and sagging. I do take a fluid pill when needed for water retention. Could this be causing me to be dehydrated all of a sudden. I have been taking this fluid pill for years and never had problems with my skin before. What is the best way to hydrate your skin and how long does this take for it to show?
Shamefully, for almost 8 years I have been getting very small itchy blisters on various spots on my arms and legs. The small blisters develop and immediately itch intensely, which is how I know they're there. They have a clear fluid inside, with no puss. When I scratch them in my sleep or when they break, they often weep a little amber colored liquid. Also, when I scratch them, more tiny blisters will develop around the original blister, signifying an infection.
I toned my arms and they have been beautiful up until this summer where suddenly over the past month I have lost the elasticity in my arms..my wrinkles show all over and underneath my biceps, the flab is hanging down, which hasn't happened in 6 years. What is going on? I am panicked and fearful of what is to come. My doctor has said that sun damage and old age are basically the culprits....it has happened so suddenly that I can't accept this.
I am pretty thin and yes could be in the perimenopause too. The fat does not seem to go on my arms first though not these days, it goes on my legs and tummy, but then i dont like to get too big so keep slim, or try to. size 8, 5ft 2". so lifting weights would make your arms better, the thing is i am not sure of this, as actually i think i do lift a lot of the time anyway, heavy shopping and do care work, ,a few hours each week and that uses your arms a lot really, day to day thing.
You're probably familiar with Botox as a treatment for facial wrinkles, but it can also be useful in treating some types of tremors, especially of the head and voice. Botox injections can improve problems for up to three months at a time. When used to treat hand tremors, Botox can sometimes cause weakness in your fingers. Surgery may be an option for people whose tremors are severely disabling and who don't respond to medications.
And like you, have noticed that hardly anyone my age and much older have wrinkled arms like I do!!! They have tons more wrinkles on their face and neck than I do but they have nice smooth plumb arms!! I don't get it. Azurea, where do you purchase the palm oil? And does it clog your pores? Do you use it on your arms?
i've been picking since i dont even know how long. it started as just popping pimples and at bumps on my arms. my arms got so scabbed up that i never wore short sleeve shirts. in my sophomore year of high school i tried using my tweezers to pull out hairs on my legs because i thought it would be like waxing them, only one hair at a time. but i started getting ingrown hairs, which i would pop.
( The rehab dr that the neuro has reffered me too does these injections in arms and hands rountinely for victims of strokes. Hence my GM Consultant would prefer me to see an eye specailist.
A few years ago, I developed some on the back of my scalp. Now it's on my hairline next to my temples, very embarassing. I use topical cortaid otc on it and it helped some. But recently read that ultraviolet a and b rays helps with this. That's probably true, because I am not a sun worshipper, but I did tan at the beginning of summer in a tanning bed. I haven't been there for about 7-8 years! Funny, huh? It took me this long to figure that out. I'm at day two in the tanning bed.
(okay, and so I can go back to sleep quick too) I lay him on his side, leaving arms out and he's up an hour 1/2 later. on and on and on...until that darn sun pops up! My sister says to let him cry and stop nursing him, but I swear it's hard when this starts at 1:00am! At 18lbs and 5 1/2 months he should be sleeping through the night right? He is just so used to snuggling up with his light crochet blanket that I'm scared left unswaddled with it he'll suffocate,...
No OBVIOUS warts. Then i developed a rash on my inner thighs and on my forehead and cheeks. Pimple like rash, but without the white center. Then I felt like a bus hit me. Literally I could barely get out of bed I was so tired. Then started the lower back pain, I had to use a heating pad to help. I went to the Urgent Care and told them I felt like i had an STD. The doc ran the standard STD tests and a CBC w/ diff.
I have been going to the Hospital in Bristol, England for nearly two years with split palms of my hands and feet. I also have eczema on my arms, back and head. Perhaps we should press "someone" or "some people" to act on our behalf to try to find a cure. I for one long for relief and to live normally. I, too, feel the embarrassment of working with raw hands looking like I never take any care of them. Good luck to all.
My girlfriend has "itchy red spots" on her thighs, stomach, arms, upper back and occasionally on her hands. All of the symptoms on here sound so familiar, but she doesn't have bed bugs, nor does she have scabies, as she has been treated numerous times for this. She does have Grave's disease, but nobody seems to think the two are related. She is very clean, and relatively healthy. As with most everyone on here, they seem to get worse at night.
I have had psoriasis or eczema on my arms as a child-teenager and after sugery few years ago, I had a bad case of eczema, with extreme flaking. over the counter worked well for that. I currently am unemployed and insurance is still being processed; therefore, difficult to make and appointment even if with my regular Dr she'lll tell me to just "wait it out" try this or that for this long then come back if persists.
Approximately 5 days ago the skin on both arms sagged. A lot. I have always had tone arms and they have changed so drastically that all I can do is keep looking and cry. I now have the flap of fatty skin hanging down and my forearm is showing loose skin also. Could someone please tell me what is happening, I am scared. It's come on so suddenly. I really don't have much in the way of symptoms of periomenopause, so I am not sure what is going on.
(Even if you protect your face, you don't want them on your legs, your chest, your arms, at 35 or 40.
I have both osteo and rhuematoid arthritis which has caused my legs arms and most of my body to become very swollen and has (waves, looks like wrinkles) which looks really gross. Is there any medication i can take which would help this?
Oh, picking my boyfriend (back, face - which he HATES) and even picking my sons pimples when he was small. The latest is I found blackheads on my dogs belly, but the WORST of all this is now my son, 10, is JUST LIKE ME! I know that the stuff on my scalp is waxy build up, and is not anything else but, it's up to me to control the picking and probably rinse and not use so much hair product. I have VERY clear skin, on my face and my body, but I look for things to pick at!
there is a spot on my nose that i've rubbed raw washing, trying to get these "things" out of my pores. these are not whiteheads, nor blackheads. these are clusters of white or fleshy hard and sticky plugs-- not filled with anything, but they stick straight out from the pores. They are not bumps. If I rub the area w/ a towel they do not rub off at all. I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin.

I must say that you have all shown me new wrinkles on wrinkles. Now when you say wrinkles are you talking about the type of wrinkle that a coach might put into a football game, or a baseball game etc. I wrinkled up my brow trying to find what wrinkles you are talking about. Now I have a whole new set of wrinkles. My old wrinkles are upset at the interlopers and are holding meetings above and below my lips. It's got to the point where I don't know where my face starts and the wrinkles end.
