I am the person who had an electrolysis mishap in April of 2008. Since the incident I found out the hard way what happens when I go out into sunlight. I had bilateral cataract removal with lens implants (monofocal) one week apart. When the first patch came off (left eye) my vision was much worse than before the surgery. It sounds like you may need some new glasses and this should help quite a bit. Ocassionaly there can be some clouding or hazing of the posterior capsule that requires a yag laser capsulotomy. I have also seen some patients with some wrinkles or stria in the posterior capsule in the first few weeks after surgery that cause the diaganol lights you mentioned. The get better about 90% of the time on their own and need a yag laser about 10% of the time.

I have the same problem that koolGuy - severe myopy -14 D and -15 D and 2 laser treatments to pheripherical retinal degeneration done in two last months.
The problem is that my left eye is "strange" after this last laser treatment. I think I have more floaters also.I dont know how to remedy it. Somebody could answer me?
