Hello, I have bee feeling a tension/tightness between my eyebrows for almost three years now, sometimes it may be go away, but rarely. ie. after a workout or hot bath, but it will soon return. It's not a pain or headache, I can't describe it, but it's like I feel I am permanently furrowing my brows, when I am not, but perhaps when I am alseep or during the day at times, I am because I see small lines/wrinkles forming between my brows. I don't want to have that angry furrowed brow face look.
I woke up this morning with a dent in my forehead about the size of a dime and in approximately the same area where the "third eye" is supposed to be (between and above the eyebrows). Its happened several times before and eventually goes away. I'm just wondering what causes it and if its anything I should be concerned about? I do get frequent headaches that seem to develop from tension in my neck and shoulders. Other than that I'm very healthy. Anyone have any ideas?
He said that the scans don't show any cause for this to be happening and it looks like it is curving in rather than the bone thinning in that area. At this point it isn't affecting my brain, so he wants me to repeat the scans in October and come back so he can see if there are any changes. Keep in touch if you find anything out about yours. and feel free to send me a message in my inbox - I have a watch on this post and my inbox and I recieve an email whenever anyone posts to it.

I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin. Part of it broke off but I could still see that the pore was plugged and a day or two later top of the plug was sticking out again. i can't find ANYTHING online that looks like it.
Hello, I am 28 years old and recently I started developing wrinkles everywhere on my face (forehead, under eye, between eyebrows, nasolabial lines and more). Some days when I look at my face in the mirror I feel like a 50 year old. The texture of my facial skin looks horrible, my skin is very dry and my facial pores are pretty big. I also have puffiness and black circles under my eyes. My weight is normal, I eat healthy, exercise a lot and take a multivitamin and Complex B.
For 4 weeks now I've been experiencing a burning, throbbing, irritating, hypersensitive feeling on the skin in my face. This all started on March 16, 2009, in trying to help some very mild acne/pimples and dull skin, I aggressively exfoliated my entire face, scrubbing hard with a coarse scrub sponge, using that with crushed Apricot Seed Scrub. I think I may have also washed my face with Oxy Wash 10% Benzoyl Peroxide after exfoliating.
i agree with the other lady restylane can be pricey when a little botox will do the trick, and you do not have to do your forhead you can just do your scour. the space between your eyebrows. see what you think. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tai Chong - Relieves anger, irritability, and impatience which leads to permanent furrows between the eyebrows, acne, PMS, and irregular menstrual cycles. The Tai Chong point is located between the big toe and the second toe, approx. 1 inch inward from the webbing on the top of the foot. 3. San Yin Jiao - Relieves all fear, anger, and worry related emotions. These emotions ultimately rob their possessor of leading a fulfilling life.
I am also 41-years old and have been experiencing something terrible from aggressive exfoliation, plus improper use of Retin-A. For 4 weeks now I've been experiencing a burning, throbbing, irritating, hypersensitive feeling on the skin in my face. This all started on March 16, 2009, in trying to help some very mild acne/pimples and dull skin, I aggressively exfoliated my entire face, scrubbing hard with a coarse scrub sponge, using that with crushed Apricot Seed Scrub.
) I want to see if they can do it in my low back, where I am the worst. Oh, and my eyebrows still move. My face looks the same and maybe feels slightly different if I make exaggerated expressions. I don't think the locations he put it really affect wrinkles or facial expression much at all. Whew. That was long, but it is the quickest I can convey my personal experience. Hope it helped somebody.
You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed. While doing anulom vilom, keep your eyes closed, concentrate on the third eye (point in between the eyebrows). After you can do anulom vilom for 15 minutes or more, you will start to relax and get better sleep.Continue for rest of life, to keep the body in balance.Your feedback will help others.
I had read (you may have noticed I have been doing tons of internet research, since I found out I had fibrosis, last October) that people in treatment can develope a riba-rash (also Teleprivir has this sx, but I am on Boceprivir), and that cutting ourselves shaving, may trigger it. Aslo, that once a riba-rash starts, it is difficult to cure. So far, so good, I am only having dry, irritated skin, and using natural products, to moisturize, befor bed, etc.
You can get your full face done, which usually includes forhead and in between your eyebrows for a lot more money, but if you break it down it's pretty affordable depending where you go. And contrary to what one poster said, you DON'T have to let it grow. You can shave - but ONLY shave. You can't use waxes or Nair or pluck, but you CAN shave.
I started losing hair a couple of months into tx. I was horrified at how much was in my brush and combs, but nobody else can even tell I've lost any. I also had very long hair. I cut it to just above shoulder length and it really helped it to look fuller. The lose started tapering off after a couple more months. What I really miss is being able to color it! So much to look forward to!
I am a 26 year old white male, and I have had a skin problem on my face for about 4 years now. I have redness on my chin, sides of nose out to the cheeks, and between the eyebrows, accompanied with dead flakey skin (unless I scrub it off), and approx 3 hours after washing my skin becomes increasingly oily (very shiny).
If you could read this I would be very greatful, I am worried I am an 18 year old female. I have not had a period in nearly 6 months, for the past few years my periods have been irregular, sometimes the gap between them can be 3/4 months, or even more. I have noticed since 2010, I have started putting on weight on my stomach area ONLY. Before, I used to have a very flat stomach and small waist.
Chris I have a bit of a receeding hair line and my hair is naturally thin shafted but at 12 weeks of treatment I have seen no change in my hair. However my lower legs and arms have this rash and the hair in those areas are gone for the most part. My wife is loosing more hair over stess than I have so far with treatment. Tomorrow I may look like a plucked goose though.
they calmed them down a bit only, then i started to get redness under the eyes and swollen under the eyes in the morning with deep eye wrinkles, they come and go and i have no idea what to do, ive tried steroids, all the creams, changing my makeup, not wearing contacts, and nothing...so i tried cutting out red chillies, chocolate and eggs, the last 2 days i had chillies and chocolate and it seems like it cd be back, so if i am on to something with it being a food allergy shall let you all know.
Makeup makes it looks worse as it settles in the wrinkles, redness. I have not gone to the Dr. as I am sure she won't have any idea. Will go to my naturopath first. Any more info from anyone would be greatly appreciated. This is really really bad.
I also now have issues with candida or yeast and when it hit my eyelids, I looked like a Racoon, I used to think it was an allergy to polyester, but the more and more I learn I am finding that the POLIO Vaccine and others in the Military were failing tests and they tried to get rid of it by selling it to third world countries, when they were refused they had so much invested in the study that they had to send the vaccine through, now its causing all sorts of skin issues with soldiers and their
YES IM ONE of those ppl too. im 13 years old and im ebarassed to dress in front of the girls in the lockers because i have hair in my stomach chest breast and on the side of my face i get made fun off and i really want to stop this problem of shaving with a razor and im embarassed to talk to my mom about me waxing it.
What is wrong with my face?! I have had acne in my past, as you can se with the pic, but it is has gotten a lot better over the years. I am not curently taking or using anything for my acne. I have naturally oily skin and I wash it every other day. I have changed my face wash six weeks ago from Noxema (with tricolsan) to St. Ives Olive cleanser. I will stop using the cleanser this week to see it it helps, but if it was just dry skin wouldn't it respond to the lotion? I am at a loss!
I stopped using it, and everything was fine for a while, my lower eyelids were back to normal, without that awful wrinkles and puffiness and redness. But in about 10-14 days the problem started again. I again used Tobradex for about 3-4 days. Everything went back to normal, but all the symptoms are back once more. I don't use cosmetics, except for a facial cream (which I don't apply near the eyes) and an eye cream (Clinique), which I stopped using once I got this problem.
I remember the first time I did it, I was looking in the mirror and just wanted to tweeze the hairs in between my eyebrows. I went too far back, so it looked like I tweezed half my eyebrows off. I also began pulling my eyelashes out, so it was literally bare in the middle. I eventually stopped pulling eyelashes, and thank God they grew back. But I couldn't stop tweezing my eyebrows, and the result is, 18 years later (I'm 28 now), they will never grow back to what they once were.
The only thing now is my face is peeling... not in a sunburn kind of way, but in a dry skin way. So, I guess it was probably burned by the cleanser I had used. I'll look for that cleanser you mentioned. So far, I've only been using plain, clear water on my skin.. I'm afraid to use anything else. You know, I'm 39 years old, and so frustrated with having skin problems... I'm sure all adults with adult acne or rosacea feel the same way.
