I have red, dry, flaky spots in the creases of my nose and around my mouth/chin. Sometimes, the dry spots get really chapped and itchy. The flakes start to turn brown after a few days. My pores on my chin are very clogged, causing lots of white heads to form. My forehead is very oily, but the rest of my face is dry. I am starting to get wrinkles under my eyes because of the dryness and is making me insecure. I am only 27 years old. What is going on with my skin and what can I do about it?

Hi, i have this major problem that is making me depressed, you see i'm only 22 yrs old yet i have wrinkles; in my forehead and around my mouth and nose i believe that this is because i lost wieght rapidly plus i never cared about using sunblock ( i regret that now ) and no i'm not a smoker .. right now, i hate myself, i mean i'm 22 yet i look like i'm 35 because of these wrinkles and i dont know what to do !!

I definitely think I have some sort of connective tissue disorder, because I've also developed bumps on my eyelids and the skin around my eyes, by my nose looks like the cells are spreading apart and the skin is getting thinner (hard to explain). Wow sounds like somthing new going around my nose is so painfull i cant wear my glasses. Across the bridge of my nose and between my eyes. Is it allergies, or sinuses causing this crazy hurtfull stuff?

I am 1 week post TX and have painful mouth sores due to treatment. Has definitely changed my eating habits as I just love spicy foods and cannot tolerate them in my mouth. OUCH!!!!!! Can an Armadillo transmit a disease or allergy just by touching it like that with Taz's nose and mouth? Taz will not go to the back yard to do his business anymore. The rash on your face may be due to dermatitis wherein groups of itchy or tender small red papules appear around the eyes or sometimes around the mouth, nose or chin. Discontinue applying all face creams including topical steroids, cosmetics and sunscreens in the face. Wash the face with warm water alone while the rash is present. If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by a dermatologist for proper management.

Steroid creams are too risky around the eye, and they also create wrinkles. He said to keep the areas moisturised with vaseline, especially during the cold winter months. He said it could go away...or not. It's just the type of skin I have. I could be allergic to anything, make-up, food, etc. I think we just have to deal with it and learn to love our red and itchy eyes. If anyone finds a cure let me know!!!!!

I too was dry and also developed very bad wrinkles around my mouth due to the dry skin, although my skin is improving everyday, i have now developed Actinic Cheititis on my bottom lip which is due to the Accutane, I will never take this drug again and it never got rid of my acne, I am back to what i use to be. So hold on in-there and the oil will come back but it takes time.
