I don't believe it was a true attack, I think the cat was warning him. I make certain the baby never hurts the cat so I know that is not a problem. I did think it important to update though as I have no doubt I won't be the last mom to deal with this issue. Just a recap...our cat was fine with our son when he was born...mild jealousy, but nothing that was a big issue. As my son became more mobile (and obsessed with the cat..lol) our cat began to show aggression towards him - swiping at him (he isn't declawed), hissing at him and biting at him.

We live in the city, so from that time on he has been an indoor cat and seemed quite happy with that. He does have a bit of a feral streak in him, but seemed quite content living inside. A few months ago he got out and I thought we had lost him. He was gone a week. He came strolling back one day none the worse for the wear.

He'll say something like "Regis went to dinner with so&so"...or "Regis got lost in traffic." I know if you've ever watched the show, you've heard him do it. Funny stuff.

I've been swimming a lot during my pregnancy as it feels so nice to exercise without feeling the weight of your belly. Walking as often as possible is also good. These are the only exercises I did but depends on your ability and fitness level. I had breathlessness throughout my preg so anything else was too much much me.

Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Lately I've been working on eating healthy and I built up a good amount of discipline and knowledge about what I should and should not be eating. Now Im trying to work out and burn at least 300 calories a day. I am not in shape at all (a 10 minute brisk walk wears me out) and was wondeeing if anyone had workout ideas for me??

Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.

Avatar f tn It depends on what types of workouts and food you are eating (and if your getting your body enough calories, protien and fat). Make sure you vary your workouts. Do ones that are focused and intense. Shorter more intense workouts will do more for you that working out all day but being exhausted and not putting your all in it. A good workout is boxing! Also remember you are still young and not to let anyone make you feel you are anything less than beautiful.

Avatar m tn I have both and take beta blockers. I exercise probably 5 or 6 days a week. I do cardio workouts, strength training, free weights and yoga. I don't guess I qualify as an athlete but I do pretty good workouts. At first I was terrified when my heart rate went up and I must admit that there are still times it kinda bothers me. But I'm trying really hard not to let this control my life.
