Avatar f tn Same situation as you! Don't listen to all this dieting crap. There are se fab ab workouts on YouTube or just make up some of your own! Cut out lots of sugar but don't deprive youself! On demand also has some workouts you'll love.

Avatar f tn Be careful if you have gone from no exercise before you were pregnant though as your body may get to the point of exertion quicker. I was very fit but have been worried to go back to the gym since finding out. Ive tried to do brisk walks though and will get back to the gym this week, just at a lower level than what Ive been used to.

I was doing my workouts 4 times a week upper body Monday, lower , day off, upper, lower then two days off. Now I'm doing Saturday, Sunday and Monday off, Upper, day off, lower body , upper than 3 days off.Any Idea what is causing the problem? FYI, I am female, 55 years old and 19% body fat. I also do treadmill 20 min after and I stretch 1 hour before each workout.

Avatar m tn However, I question the benefits of having ice baths at all of any kind because of their overall shock to the body in general. To cool down after workouts, one would not need to go to such extremes, and a gradual process would seem to be wise.
Avatar m tn Both numbers are not too bad, anything above 140/90 is not acceptable for long time, for heart, brain & kidney long term effects. The lower number is more imp 7 shooting above 90 or 100 is bad. The higher value at times may go high due to stress anxiety etc.

Avatar n tn the next time, maybe bike or swim for 30-45 mins and then 30 mins of lower body strength exercises. some days, just focus on strength training while others only strictly on cardio activities. whatever it is, be sure you mix it up. and most importantly, give yourself rest days. it doesn't hurt to have 1-2 rest days in between exercise days. good luck!

Avatar f tn but be sure to change it up with some high intensity workouts on some days and on others with some lower intensity workouts. mixing things up can really confuse your body (don't do the same workout day in/day out) and therefore could result in some positive change. remember to make sure you give yourself plenty of rest days in between workouts. good luck and stay positive! i'm sure you'll get to your target weight in no time.
