I went bowling one night after I was already sore from a vigourous workouts throughout the week. Ever since then I have had moderate to severe pain underneath and behind my right rib cage and into my chest. It feels like a have a ball stuck behind there many times and I can't even sleep on my right side.

Avatar f tn Hello I'm 60 yo, generally healthy until now. I recently had a biopsy that revealed a 1.5 cm borderline Phyllodes tumor - only borderline because of mitosis count in some areas. I've consulted with an oncologist at a major teaching hospital, who doesn't recommend radiation, only re-excision with wider margins. He also doesn't recommend chest X-ray. What is the standard for follow up care in such cases?

I have had x-rays, blood tests and an ultrasound but no MRI yet. I feel like it's most likely bad muscle tearing or other injury from the workouts as everything else came up negative.

I think it deserves possibly a wider read than it might get, so you might re-post it with a title "Exercise with PCOS" or "Need PCOS information" so people with PCOS will notice it. There might be some PCOS support groups on MedHelp, too. As for your hair, I would be suspicious of the thyroid link more than the PCOS link, so stay on top of that with your doctor. Good luck!

Avatar n tn Because when you run you usually have your mouth open and when your mouth dries out so does your tongue and when that happend as your breath goes down your throat it continues to dry and it causes gaggin the best thing you can do is get yoursef some lemon drops and suck on them when your running. Carry a bottle of water and have a proper breakfast every morning you run. It can occur if you are having any respiratory problems such as asthma.
Avatar m tn Over the past 3-4 years I have been experiencing a regular dull chest pain. Sometimes it occurs a few times a day, sometimes once or twice, other times it won't happen for several days. The pain is generally focused on my left hand side, however it will occasionally (very rarely) occur on the right hand side. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst pain possible, it would only be about a 3. It does not interfere with my day to day life in any manner--beyond being a source of concern.

Anyways, the point of this comment is that they do all sorts of arm exercises with it - bicep curls, lateral bicep curls, etc. If you could get a band of some sort like that it would be easy enough to do without the system as well.
