We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.
Avatar m tn Saturday I noticed my right underarm looked slightly swollen. It is in the middle of the underarm and looks like a pocket of fat. I can't feel any lumps. I have a friend who is a nurse at the local Women's Center look at it. She said it does appear slightly swollen but is hard to tell. She couldn't feel anything abnormal. When I first noticed it was not hurting but now I have slight occasional pain in the underarm and some pain in the right breast and nipple.

Anyways, since i lost all this weight, my body has changed and i'm much thinner but sadly i still have some untone muscle and skin on my stomach and little flubber on my upper upper inner thighs. Daily I run anywhere from 3-6 miles and i do three sets of crunches, "russian twists", planks, and lunges.

Avatar f tn Try walking (or other activity you enjoy) and yoga for exercise. Walking burns fat, as long as you keep a good brisk pace for at least 30-60 min. Yoga helps build muscle (which burns fat) and is great for toning. You can do a google search for different yoga videos, that you can watch for free, in order to learn how to do it.
Avatar f tn It depends on what types of workouts and food you are eating (and if your getting your body enough calories, protien and fat). Make sure you vary your workouts. Do ones that are focused and intense. Shorter more intense workouts will do more for you that working out all day but being exhausted and not putting your all in it. A good workout is boxing! Also remember you are still young and not to let anyone make you feel you are anything less than beautiful.
Avatar m tn Actually I disagree with the situps. They are great for increasing muscle tone, but usually do little about the actual fat. You want aerobic workouts for burning fat. Avatar f tn I had a c-section but when I hit my 6week healing mark I ran everyday for 6 weeks straight but around 4 week post baby I started doing ab workouts. I snapped back to my pre pregnancy size 12 weeks post baby. I also ate really healthy to help me get back there.
