As for diet, i am not a nutritionist but something you can do is make healthier substitutes for things like cookies. you could just try any diet while you are on this exercise program and will lose around one pound a week.

So, a healthy diet and lots of interval training is the main thing. Then you can make the "man boob" problem less noticeable, by firming up and toning your upper chest area with a decent weights routine and push-ups.

Avatar f tn I don't think it's bad to work out everyday. I did insanity every day for two months and do weight training. Depending if you want to build muscle you may alway want to try p90x. I was trying to loose belly fat as well. 3 months into insanity and working out I lost 30 pounds. The key thing to losing belly fat is that you need to know there is no such thing as spot reduction. You can't just lose belly fat.

Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week, so the most you should plan on is 10-12 pounds, if you stick with a pretty strict diet and exercise routine, but that's a good start and if you stay with it, after school starts, you can really make progress over time. There are numerous exercises for belly fat, such as crunches, leg lifts, even brisk walking. Try searching YouTube for "how to" videos.

I only started three days ago and my muscles are pretty sore but I don't care as long as they are going to work. I stretch out before and after each workout. I'm eating really healthy now (5 small meals a day), have upped my protein intake (chicken, fish, egg whites etc), lowered my fat intake and have cut all junk food, refined sugar and alcohol from my diet.
Avatar f tn I know I have muscle definition in my stomach, I can feel it, (quite literally), but I have to burn off a layer of fat to be able to see them. also, I drink about a gallon or more of water a day, and try to eat very little sugar, besides in fruits. how long should it take to burn that layer of fat at this rate? are there any good workouts and or things to incorporate that will help with fat loss and abdomen muscles?
