Common Questions and Answers about Workout routines in the park

workout

Avatar f tn Workout that focuses on the core muscles will help. However, you should clear with your OB Gyne if you can start doing intense core exercises. If not yet allowed, stick to brisk walking and and mopping the floor manually using your legs to tighten stomach and leg muscles. Shift to intense workout when it's already safe. Google for more info.
Avatar f tn Okay so I can't go to the gym. I get really bad anxiety, like I'll go to walk through the door and start crying. I've always been this way. I walk an hour a day but I'm trying to get in shape and loose 10lbs for vacation in August.
Avatar f tn I feel great as well! I have only been dieting for a few days but the change it's made already is AMAZING! The first couple days I felt extremely sluggish and tired but now all the sudden I have energy! I got my first GOOD nights sleep last night and I feel so good now. All I want to do is exercise, and be as active as I can. The weather was nice here yesterday as well and I went for about a 45 minute walk. I walked to our local park and back.
Avatar f tn The cold dry air helps to keep inflammation down I think for me. I do try to sneak in a higher impact workout. I usually regret it the next day, but it feels good when I'm doing it. I miss weight lifting. I'm doing a light Pilates tape, it helps to keep me limber.
419964 tn?1333301906 Well the stretching routines may be a good place to start"! Certainly going to give it a go! What about the others?
Avatar f tn My son is now 7.5 months old and although I have lost my pregnancy weight for the most part I am stuck with it seems like extra skin at the bottom of my stomach and fat love handles.. Does anyone have any good tips or workouts I could do? I do home exercises everyday.
Avatar f tn Hey I am 12 years old. And I am just wondering do you have any light exercise routines that would be good for me? Im just lazy and I dont do much exercise.
Avatar f tn I'm not sure what polefitness is but I've kept up with my regular workout out routines and my doctor said it was fine. As long as the workout isn't too dangerous and your pregnancy isn't high risk, but you always need to check with your doctor first. I know working out has made this pregnancy ten times better than my first! Good luck with everything!
Avatar f tn I do cardio kickboxung twice a week followed by body sculpting that involves light weights (8-10lb weights) that's on tuesday and Thursdays. Wednesdays I usually take my dogs for long walks. I'm a hair dresser so the other days I'm working and am too exhausted and sore to do anything else as of right now. Keep exercising it's good for both of you.
746818 tn?1233944362 Well I am so pleased that you have asked for treadmill routines, as well as seeing the response from PrettyKitty1. So glad to have some runners in the house with me! ; ) I also prefer to run outdoors, but I have to watch the surfaces because asphalt tends to really make my legs hurt if I go too far or too hard. In the winter I am forced to move indoors at the rec center due to my asthma (cold air really wreaks havoc with my breathing). OK...so for my actual treadmill routine.
Avatar f tn Those findings join those of another new study from Croatia, a bogglingly comprehensive re-analysis of data from earlier experiments that was published in The Scandinavian Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports. Together, the studies augment a growing scientific consensus that pre-exercise stretching is generally unnecessary and likely counterproductive.
486919 tn?1280184140 We're in the process of creating an exercise tracker to track activity. Hopefully that tracker will be able to accommodate whatever workout routine you do each day. We also have a medications tracker on our list of to-do's. We'll let you know when it's available. Thanks for the suggestions!
Avatar f tn You have been doing these routines all along without knowing about the cyst so unless you think exercise is adding to the pain, why stop, right?
505857 tn?1329681517 I'm thinking of starting body jam classes in a few weeks as i like dancing and feel this would be a good form of exercise, the only thing is i'm obese in weight and don't have a lot of confidence, has anyone else found this class a good weight loss class? Will i manage some of the routines being overweight?
Avatar m tn Target two or three muscle groups during each workout session. For example, a workout to tone the body might target leg muscles one day, chest and back muscles on a separate day and arm and shoulder muscles on a third day. Perform two or three exercises for each muscle group. Start with bodyweight exercises, such as situps, pushups and pullups. Then progress to basic weightlifting exercises, such as bench presses, lat pulldowns and squats.
193609 tn?1292180293 one is for more advanced exercisers and the other is for beginners! Even the beginner workout is really hard and you will know you worked out when you are done! I feel great though, knowing I got a workout in!!!

Avatar m tn Hello, im 19 years old and 6 days ago it was the last day of my period. The next day me and my boyfriend had oral sex. Since 3 days ago i have cramps like i am on my period and they will not go away. Also last week i started working out a lot (mostly situps and leg workout and i feel my muscules are sore). Moreover, i have not been eating as much as i usually do and i lost some weight because of stress...so could my pain be connected to the workouts and stress?
Avatar f tn It's possible that you're at a plateau, where your metabolism has adjusted to your caloric intake and your exercise level. Try changing your workout routines around to "trick" your body. You might also be retaining fluids a bit. You might also try getting a body fat percentage done to see if you're already as lean as you can reasonably get. If you are, no amount of dieting or exercise will change your weight very much.
Avatar f tn t say impossible, but still extremely unlikely. Changes in medications, diets, new workout routines can also affect cycles in some women. For peace of mind, if you are late, take a test and you will know for sure. You can also make an appointment with your primary care doctor if you are concerned about your symptoms. Good luck.
Avatar n tn I wouldnt go to the gym. Grab a step stool and maybe some 1 lb. Weights and throw on some good music.
Avatar f tn I have used Leslie Sansone in-home walking videos for the past two years with good results, lost 40 pounds so far. In my area, they can be rented from video stores or purchased at big box stores or online. She also has some free workouts on Youtube. I was skeptical at first, but being able to walk 1 to 5 miles in my living room when the snow is flying outside is great. Leslie is very encouraging, some people love that, and some don't, but it works for me.
6642814 tn?1399431158 I can still get my stretching and workout in without putting too much pressure.
Avatar f tn You're apparently not too used to working out, so you have to start slowly and build up as you get stronger. Anything that gets/keeps you moving is doing something for you. While cardio is good for you, you also need to do some strength training. You can do that in the form of squats, lunges, or using light weights. You can check out YouTube for various weigh bearing exercises. When you do strength training, you build muscle, and muscle burns fat.
Avatar f tn With all the recent changes in the body, it may just be a temporary issue. Hormonal problems can cause weight gain, water retention, etc. So don't sweat it out unless a couple months have passed and there are no changes. Otherwise, you might check how many calories you're consuming. You may be cutting too much or eating a tad over what's necessary. I tend to think this is just a temporary issue, however. You dropped 4 lbs in two weeks already. The rest will come with time.
