Avatar f tn Darn! Sometimes I log in first then read/post, sometimes I just come to the site and peruse the postings, then when I want to post I write my response, hit post (submit, whatever it is) and it takes me to the login page, where I log in, then it shows me my post again to submit. I'm about to do it that way again now... we'll see what happens...
Avatar m tn If you log out of MH then close your browser, then open browser and log back in, you have a 50% chance of seeing the old forum
495284 tn?1333894042 Mark- Even if you stay logged in, if you're in the 30% rollout group you'll see the new format. You're just not in that lucky group! With the new format you see the title of the thread and how long it's been since someone replied. It doesn't say who replied. It doesn't show the name of the OP or the date. There's only the title until you open the thread and read. It's a cold format.
1831849 tn?1383228392 I am somewhat alarmed by the appearance and disappearance of a new format in the MS community. It seems to be happenening at random and without the users knowledge. There has been no information shared before or during this change, not to the users and not to the community leaders. This is not any way to manage change. I am a systems project manager by profession. If I were to mismanage my system in this way I would be unemployed.
4898964 tn?1381257899 Anyway I got the old forum back on my phone by doing what Pat said, log out and log back in. IMO the new format will turn a very successful forum for quitting drugs into a dead horse.
Avatar m tn PCR test results are often expressed in logarithm format; this is likely the ‘LOG’ number you’re seeing— it’s an easier way to handle large numbers. Expressed numerically, this value equals 2,852,000; and it’s also likely they are using IU/mL. 2,852,000 IU/mL is a rather viral load; but as mentioned above, doesn’t necessarily correlate with disease progression or severity.
Avatar m tn Also if you log out, close your browser and log back in; you only have a 30% change of seeing the new format which means you have a 70% chance of seeing the old.
190885 tn?1333025891 Every once in a while it doesn't appear to log in correctly, it happens to me too. The page is white and the text doesn't appear in the boxes like it does here. But it goes away again and returns to normal if you hit return to forum a few times. AT least that is my experience with it though I dont know if that is what Billy means.
Avatar f tn Also, please go to the bottom of this page and under Support click on Contact Us and let them know what issues you are experiencing or dont like. Log in and out a couple times and the old format should come back up for a bit. We are all in this together and feel the same way.
382218 tn?1341181487 Argh! Clicked on Submit accidentally! The email said you may need to log out/in several times and it will revert to the old format since it is not in full use yet.
Avatar m tn Somehow, I still have the old format. I do not get the new format using Firefox. However, with Chrome I get the new format. I'm perplexed as to why one would be different from the other.
Avatar f tn 2,800,000 for every log drop take one zero off the end. 1 log drop you would be at 280,000 A two log drop would mean 28,000 and so on. If your on incivek your needing at least close to a 4 log drop to go on.....
798555 tn?1292787551 i agree. The new version I hate. Can't find a thing and you cannot tell the latest comment was received etc. VERY difficult to follow. I have found if I log off and then back in or wait a little while and log in again I am able to get the "old" format which is DRAMATICALLY better. If I had a vote I would vote to not even spend a single more second on development of the "new" format. It is horrible!
Avatar m tn the term ‘log’ is short for ‘logarithm’, and is just another way of expressing the same number... looking at large numbers using log or exponential format is primarily for the sake of convenience. If you use your ‘log’ example it becomes readily apparent how close the two values compare to each other; log 7.380 and log 7.407 are almost identical. You have plenty of company in the waiting department, by the way.
962875 tn?1314210036 I went to privacy and show cookies and then I cleared all cookies. Then I went back to MH and the original format was back. I logged in and it has been fine since.
Avatar n tn This is a Hepatitis C forum below is the link to the STD forum. Good Luck http://www.medhelp.
Avatar m tn Hi, We tracked down the lag issue that Jim was referring to and pushed a fix a couple of hours ago. If you still experience lag please let us know. Proactive - if you log in you will no longer see any of the dictionary "tag codes" and will not have any trouble cutting and pasting text. Those appear only to people who are not logged in to MedHelp. When you log in you can check the box to keep you logged in so you don't need to log in every time.
304573 tn?1345577338 It is your viral load in log 10 form your VL is between 250-275 thousand VL log 10 250,000 5.398 275,000 5.439 http://www.hepatitis-central.com/hcv/hepatitis/loadchart.html Logarthmic format Now, recently some people express these numbers also in logarithmic form (logarithmic transformed number). log(1730000)=6.24 6.24 is the logarithmic transformed number of the viral load of our above example. A result of 3.
Avatar f tn I know there were a few teachers on here who were also due in the spring/early summer. Just wanted to check in with others dealing with students. I was greeted with, "Oh hi, you're here!" this morning.
148588 tn?1465778809 The "horrible beta format" is not a beta format... MedHelp is changing their format to look more like FaceBook and other social media, as they try to make it compatible with mobile devices - supposedly, this is what people want. The roll out is not complete and we're asked to be patient as changes are being made and the roll out reaches 100%... You may be able to return to the old format by logging out of MH, closing your browser, then logging back in...
Avatar f tn I do not like it much at all. I wish that I just had the little body figure to make notes on in my diary. But I have such a hard time determining what the sensation or pain I have is and I get very frustrated. It's not hard to use, but the functions should be better I think. Like, you can't mark the figure for where you have tingling, but you can check it off. I never use it anymore; it's enough I track all this bad unfun stuff on my journal, ya know.
