Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

Said to stay active since i was extremely active before but i was wondering if anyone is doing the same or plan to.. or did it help with bringing labor or thru labor ?
Avatar f tn Lots of cardio like walking and you can also do the stair stepper. if you lay on your back and workout your legs doing different things that also helps. You can do some squats but only until you feel tired then stop.

Avatar f tn I'm 36 weeks, 2-3 days (my doctor's office says I'm a day ahead of what my app says) and every so often, I get this feeling in my abdomen as if I have just completed in "Insanity" style ab workout. I've got that burning, tense abdominal muscle sensation. It's hard to describe it's not exactly like contractions, it's more like a constant tense feeling. Has anyone else felt this being in their 3rd trimester?

I just do some light cardio (making sure I am never short of breath) and mini crunches on an exercise ball, and them some light weights on machines (they aren't very heavy so that I strain, but I do lots of repetitions so that I can still feel the burn). I have been going this whole time through even my last pregnancy and I think it helps me with the symptoms.

Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. I hate the spotting but have learned to see it as normal. Is it normal? I'm 22. I would say I'm in good health. I used to jog 4 miles daily. 2 or 4 miles I spot anyway. Does this happen to anyone else?
