Avatar m tn Yesterday I was at LA Fitness gym, at the end of my workout a guy was asking me about the roundhouse karate kicks I do over the machines in between weight training sets. While I was explaining my workout routine to him I had a sense that he might be high on pain meds. He had this calm peaceful look with a faint smile and his eyes were glassy and a little red. I thought I might be imagining things because of my opiate experience and recently getting over a mild relapse.

And on my hands, sometimes, I have little blisters or cuts (which don't bleed, however); I had large sunburns on by arms (which were partially healed, because the skin was not red anymore and not sore at all). I recently read that gyms were "dirty" places with lots of germs.

Avatar f tn Ashley, I joined a gym (YMCA) and it made me pack on the pounds, last year. Interestingly, my brother had the same exact experience. He was also working out at at gym and he lost his attractive physique. I am a healthy, slim weight to begin with. But I joined the gym to firm up and feel better with more energy, and more muscle definition. Let me tell you, I looked like hell after going to that gym 4x weekly. I looked like a big ugly thick brick.

So Nways I workout for an hour today. Js cardio tho. Walking for 30 mins nd 30 mins elliptical! I'm not overdoing it right? Im Js little worried that I might've done too much today..

The skin on the buttocks and the thigh area is too thick for the virus to easily penetrate and infect someone so just coming in contact with active virus on a surface or a hand isn't going to be enough to transmit it." It made me feel better. heat and friction is needed for transmission on normal skin like arms. i;m zero risk.....right?

Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.
11803947 tn?1430842645 I went to the gym until 36 weeks i was having contractions when i worked out so i cut out the gym and just started walking. But i understand what you are saying. I actually had my uncle ask me what i did at the gym in "my condition"!! I'm still walking at least two miles plus cleaning and taking care of my daughter. At the same time ink highly uncomfortable now at 39 weeks. But still able to do anything physically.

Avatar f tn The six week post is basically just to make sure that you are healing in the right direction. I've heard of women who were in the gym the next morning. It will probably depend on what your doc says and since they are miliitary docs, they will probably allow it.

For some reason I am still struggling with losing weight and I have also been watching what I eat. Some say I do too much of a repetition and my body is used to the work out. Avatar f tn Having her as my workout buddy helps push me to get my workout clothes on and get to the gym. Just getting to the gym is half the challenge. Whenever I workout, I frequently feel like I want to stop and rest, but because there are people around me watching I force myself to continue. After awhile it seems I overcome a hurdle and am able to obtain some energy that makes me want to keep working out. But I really have to push myself in the beginning to get over that hurdle.

Avatar f tn My doctor is very supportive and an advocate for pregnant women to workout. All she said was to lower the amount of weight being lifted and that's it. Otherwise keep your cardio/activity to exactly where it was before being pregnant.

When I first started going to the gym, I was having issues with feeling extremely nauseous and lightheaded (very close to passing out) after about 30 minutes of cardio exercise. I chalked this up to being over weight and out of shape.
