They take advanatge of the DVD format and let you pick which workout you want to do at a given session so that you can customize the length and difficulty. I think that is neat. They do lots of squats, and the music is lame, but they are also good options considering my limitations. I have a small trampoline, and sometimes I just put that in the living room and sort of jog in place on it (I think I'd break it if I actually jumped!
Avatar f tn They have Zumba DVDs you can buy and it's VERY fun! I love it. I can do it in the comfort of my own home, so I don't looks weird in from of people, and I have a great time doing it. Plus, it teaches you to dance and shake it!! lol Plus, I'm sure there's always some fun exercise tutorial on youtube.com. Plus, youtube is free.
Avatar f tn (Forget to add this--the TV shows work better than movies because most shows are 40-45 minutes, which is about how long your workouts should be. Alias is a great show to workout too, by the way. I had never seen it before but told myself that I could only watch it when I was also working out. Some weeks I even worked out six days a week just to watch a new episode! Good luck finding something that motivating!

I love the focus on baby while remembering the beauty of self. Creating space for him, aligning myself with baby. I loved it. If anyone is looking for a gentle and beautiful workout.. I go to the gym a lot but will soon be moving/changing jobs and am worried that it won't be easy to find the time, so I'm looking for more "at home" work out options, and this one does look good in that it appears fun, which is important since workout videos can get really redundant.

Avatar f tn I often found it hard to get out for a walk or go to the gym so I bought the Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred DVD. Great workout! I also bought her Shred it with Weights and 6 week Abs. They are all about 25 min long and I do it while the girls are in the same room playing or are eating a snack. All you need are light weights 3-8lbs and a mat if you dont have carpet. I have lost almost 30 pounds since the beginning of Jan. I have about 13 more pounds to go.

1063524 tn?1258732204 The withdrawals are REALLY starting to kick in. I know everyone says exercise is great for everything including the energy which I have NONE of right now. I have lupus and I can't just go outside for a power walk in the cold. I wouldn't be able to move later. I guess I could get some DVDs and try them but I've also had back surgeries so I'm limited in things as far as yoga, pilates, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My body frame is pear shaped,my weight goes directly to my hips and rump ! Could you give me some healthy eating tips ,I'm also interested in eating clean, and some additional exercises if possible.

Its like I need a set routine or workout but I don't have personal trainer money.
