Common Questions and Answers about Workout dvds biggest loser

workout

Avatar f tn m not familiar with that one either. I prefer yoga; there are tons of DVDs for that. The Biggest Loser Yoga for Weight Loss is great.
Avatar f tn Continuing the Live Chat discussion that I started about the Biggest Loser but never got to finish since I needed to spend time with hubby--- I read your responses to it and that's actually a great point about it being sad that people have to go home. What happened with the first episode of Biggest Loser? They sent NINE people home on the first night (split up 9 teams). The reason behind it being that they want people to know they CAN DO THIS at home, without that bootcamp atmosphere.
193609 tn?1292180293 Does anyone have the Biggest Loser game for the Wii that just came out in October? I bought it today and so far I LOVE the workout! However, every where says you can add a friend to challenge, but I can't figure it out? I want to challenge my husband, but I am struggling with the set up of the game! Anyone?? On a side note, the Wii game is AWESOME! If you have the wii balance board it is better, but heard you can use it without it too!
1292737 tn?1272559251 I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I just joined the medhelp website last night as both my husband and I have decided that we want to get back into shape. I'm 25 5'9" and 230lbs.....not my happiest moment. Anyhow, I just want to thank you all in advance for the support and encouragement. I'm being optimistic that I will stick with my exercise and eating plans. I'm going to be using "The Firm" workout DVDs and weights and can hardly wait.
649848 tn?1534633700 Walking is one of the most recommended exercises; whether it be on a treadmill or outside; but of course, walking outside gives the added benefit of fresh air and mental stimulation (sights and sounds), along with the actual exercise. I've never tried the Jillian Michaels DVD (shred); I think they are a bit more than I could tolerate. I do have the Biggest Loser - Yoga for Weight Loss, though and I love it; it works if I'd do it often enough.
Avatar f tn I workout 3-5 times a week, usually dvds ,Rocking Body by Shaun T,turbo jam or biggest losers walk .if the weather permits I also walk outside. My body frame is pear shaped,my weight goes directly to my hips and rump ! Could you give me some healthy eating tips ,I'm also interested in eating clean, and some additional exercises if possible.
Avatar f tn Actually I am watching American Idol. I haven't watched in a few weeks. I watch the biggest loser every now and then. Maybe no one else responded because they are watching it. haha. =) I am watching this, on here, and cleaning in between. I'm crazy.
Avatar f tn I workout everyday with a pregnancy pilates video. I did pilates everyday before becoming pregnant. It Keeps you toned and prepares you for delivery.
Avatar f tn I practice yoga already and today I decided to purchase pregnancy yoga DVDs in particular. I just completed one and it was beautiful. I love the focus on baby while remembering the beauty of self. Creating space for him, aligning myself with baby. I loved it. If anyone is looking for a gentle and beautiful workout.. Prenatal and postnatal, YOGA.

My body hurst a lot all of a sudden I cant walk I have really bad leg cramps. I been going out for walks with my hubby and the dog but I don't feel that's enough movement. Is anyone eals bodyaching ?
Avatar f tn I would love to regularly workout, but can't afford to buy a bunch of dvds (I bought one but get bored after so many times). I'd love to hear if anyone has come across a good workout site or a few that have a bunch of pregnancy workouts?!
Avatar f tn Im 38 weeks pregnant and still workout!!:) I do 3-4 mile walks, 40-60 squats and some type of 20 minute cardio prenatal workouts (power walks or dance)..just check with your doctor to make sure you are ok with doing it still..but keep up working out!! Its helps with labor and delivery!! Good luck mommies!!
3215744 tn?1346814318 there are a lot of workout dvds for pregnancy, you should be able to find some at the store or online. just be sure to run the workout routine by your doc and get their aproval before you start it.
Avatar m tn I also have a stomach ache that has lasted a week and seems to be aggravated when I move, and I, too, have been doing "The Biggest Loser" cardio max workout every other day and the 5 minute yoga stretch with poses at the end. I was wondering if I twisted something as well, so I was interested in any answers you got, but so far no one has answered if it is possible to twist something internally. Do you have any digestive issues?
Avatar f tn They have Zumba DVDs you can buy and it's VERY fun! I love it. I can do it in the comfort of my own home, so I don't looks weird in from of people, and I have a great time doing it. Plus, it teaches you to dance and shake it!! lol Plus, I'm sure there's always some fun exercise tutorial on youtube.com. Plus, youtube is free.
614343 tn?1258041519 Yes, I have one and I love it. The only thing I don't like about it, is that once you get used to the routine, it's pretty slow paced. I do like being able to track my weight and "Wii Fit" age --- because it always shows that I'm "younger" and in better shape than my 60 yrs would imply. It's good for starting out, but once you get used to the exercises, it's not much of a challenge.
362249 tn?1441315018 I finally have my biggest loser workout series 1 so now i can do cardio but i also plan on continuing The Shred and another JM's DVD so im wondering i heard the Shred is not enough and you need cardio which im doing but do i need to do it the same day as The Shred? I'm trying to alternate days of cardio and circuit training, will this work or do i need to do cardio ALL 6 days?
Avatar f tn DVDs are available in stores and online with a few targeting parent and child. They are generally categorized by age, with only a few available for Moms with toddlers. http://www.***********.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=483 http://www.babycenter.com/0_eight-ways-to-find-time-to-exercise_626.
1253186 tn?1304783542 I"m not familiar with either of these programs, but I seem to remember one of our members has ordered the P90X, I think. I'm very sorry, but right off hand, I can't remember which one it was. Hopefully, she will see your post and answer or I will remember who it was and contact her for you....... Personally, I like yoga for toning and all around exercise. It works the entire body AND helps you relax. My favorite dvd is "Biggest Loser, Yoga for Weight Loss".
1311499 tn?1273675955 Well, it sounds like all three of you certainly have the desire to lose the weight. I don't know what to tell you about the stretch marks; I've seen advertisements for creams, etc but I don't know if they work or not. I like the idea that stretch marks are braille for "I love my children" -- how true it is. As for the weight; the best thing is to figure out how many calories you should be eating/day, then figure out diet that will let you achieve that.
Avatar f tn ) I got the what toexpect when expecting workout dvd and its amazing. It has yoga, cardio, and workouts to do when you aren't pregnant.
3195521 tn?1348151133 I was thinking about that the other day how I would like to work out....is there one of those dvds u can buy where I can do it at home...I don't won't to drag my 3 year old to the gym..
