I eat only healthy food, and I workout all the time, so why can't I lose any weight? It's like I physically just cannot do it. I didn't gain any muscle, because my clothes don't fit any differently. I jus feel like giving up. I've struggled with my weight my entire life, and I'm only 21. Anyone have any ideas?

Avatar f tn I really recommend pregnancy yoga in your 2nd and 3rd trimester, before that aqua aerobics, swimming, normal yoga and Pilates, gym workout, light jog, stationary bike and cross trainer, anything really as long as you are feeling well and comfortable doing it.

My mom bought the "Walk at Home" workout DVD today and I'm going to try that one too.. I will let you all know how that goes! Anyways! I just wanted to let everyone know how I was doing.. Avatar m tn t even take a full 30 seconds for the test to come back positive ( i ended up taking 3 tests). by 6 weeks i had a little pouch. i was still to small for maternity clothes but to big for all my regular clothes. by 12 weeks you could most certainly tell i was pregnant. when i went into labor ( i was 34 weeks...i lasted 4 weeks longer then they thought i would) i was measuring 54 weeks. even my maternity clothes had started getting tight on me. but don't worry about the weight.

Avatar f tn Try stretching, working out a little if you can (I do a prenatal workout home DVD-it's only 25 mins long) or look on Pinterest for some prenatal back exercises. Our bodies just by being prego get pulled forward and out of shape. Another thing to try is get a "maternity belly band" it supports your stomach so there is less back strain. I found mine on Amazon, but I've seen them at baby & maternity clothes stores.
Avatar f tn It's possible that you're at a plateau, where your metabolism has adjusted to your caloric intake and your exercise level. Try changing your workout routines around to "trick" your body. You might also be retaining fluids a bit. You might also try getting a body fat percentage done to see if you're already as lean as you can reasonably get. If you are, no amount of dieting or exercise will change your weight very much.
