I am 36 weeks today and had to have my wisdom teeth taken out everything went OK but I'm starving to death and I trued to eat ice cream as suggested and can't.
ve also had to have a tooth pulled after one half of it fell off while I was eating ice cream in my first pregnancy. I also had my wisdom teeth out, although not while pregnant, but I can assure you it is not a major procedure and should not affect your baby. Best advice is get it done so you are no longer in pain and stay away from rice for the few days post op. Anything soft and from a straw, like Jamba Juice would be the best to get nutrients while recovering.
Hello! I had my wisdom teeth removed a month ago. The dentist told me before I had surgery that on of my wisdom teeth was close to a nerve and he would have to be very careful. When I woke up from surgery he said he didn't see the nerve and though he had to work to get that tooth out because it came apart, all went smoothly.
I have not been able to feel my chin or my lower lip since the surgery. The dentist says wait it out.
I wish I could eat some :) I bought me a ice machine then like two weeks later both my wisdom teeth cracked on beef jerky.
I dont know if this is related but on March 7th 2019 I had my top to wisdom teeth removed. That is also the day that I quit smoking. I have not smoked since then. I was a pack a day smoker for about 10 years. When I quit and was healed up from the teeth I started having a globus sensation in my throat constantly making take deep breaths. Then this week 5/13/19 I started to feel a vibration on the left side of my throat when I took the deep breath.
t gotten very hungry my entire pregnancy so it was easy for me to just eat things like yogurt,pudding and ice cream. You could also do jello. I didn't even think about jello when I had mine done, lol. Also if you're on an antibiotic you might want to consider taking a pro biotic to avoid a yeast infection. Or eat yogurt a few times a day. I ate yogurt about 3 times a day. I had ran out of pro biotics just before getting the teeth pulled. And I am prone to yeast infections.
Any good dentist should have been able to pinpoint the problem from the start. Its not that hard to figure that the source is from either 12 or 15, and vitality testing should have done the rest. The idea with the cold test most dentists forget about is lingering. Here is the correct method:
1) Put endo ice on the tooth (anything else is not cold enough to produce diagnostic results)
2) When pt. starts to feel it, pt.

Lol yes I broke one of my back teeth eating ice but its sad to say I'm still eating ice just praying that pain doesn't come back lol

Get a doctors okay to see a dentist. I'm only 12 wells 4 days and my obgyn cleared me to see a dentist for the worst pain I've ever had in my life. They cleaned my teeth and gave me antibiotics and medicine for pain. When I'm done with antibiotics they're going to pull the tooth and take my wisdom teeth out.
Ice cream has been my biggest craving, can't get enough of it (as unhealthy as it is) but my midwife said it is fine to eat in managed portions due to sugar c:
I already went for ice cream earlier!! Had strawberry cheesecake and I don't even like cheesecake!
