Avatar n tn What is a good way to prevent bad breath, I brush my teeth and use mouthwash. Avatar m tn I have a strange odor and taste by my wisdom teeth, mostly the bottom ones. They don't hurt but they just smell awful. I have rinsed with peroxide, warm salt water, and brush thoroughly in there location but the smell and taste will not go away. what is it? should I have them removed right away?
Avatar n tn I have had bad breath for many years. I was so depressed and is so cautious to talk to anyone. However, when I discovered the Breezecare products from Australia and used it over the past two years, it did work but as I slowly decrease the dosage and uses, the saliva smells so so terribly than before. I have really regretted using the products and am now trying to use natural remedies for my problem. But somehow, it only work for a few minutes and after that the bad breath is back.
Avatar n tn I am only 18 years old and out of no where I had bad breath! I wasn't eating right for a good amount of time, maybe that had something to do with it? But now I'm eating normal so shouldn't my breath be normal? Also, I had 2 wisdom teeth removed, maybe that could have something to do with it? Please somebody help me because this is a big issue for me, I want to keep my boyfriend and start to hang out with my friends again.
Avatar n tn For many years I did not realized that my bad breath is from the crowns. I have consulted over 15 dentists, orthodontists, ENTs( one of who recommended my tonsils removed), gastrointestinal specialist (with scopes, allergic testing) even a heart specialist, in case there something he knows. Besides all the traditional quacks. Some deduced that I was over sensitive to extend of psycho while some were sympathetic but helpless.

Welcome to dog forum, please check in with your comments, plenty people here with very informative suggestions,.... And, bad teeth, dogs can get that easy....my female has bad teeth, and I thought I took excellant care, but each dog different...just the way it is sometimes.. Good luck...
Avatar n tn My dog has bad breath, I know she needs to get her teeth cleaned, but at this time I can't afford the procedure. Is there anything I can give her to help with her breath? I have tried the dog treats, but they haven't helped. Can I put mint extract in her water? Will it poison her? She wont eat the dog mints either. Any healthy alternative to try?
739988 tn?1386672969 I agree with Misfits4me, have his teeth checked. We found a cat two years ago, and his breath was horrible. The first time his teeth were checked they removed all but 10, yesterday they had to remove the rest. Have your dog checked before they get this bad.
978488 tn?1295468883 s mild gingivitis, severe periodontal disease or even fractured teeth. Pugs are especially prone to bad teeth because they have the same number of teeth (42) crammed into their little jaws as a big Shepherd or Dane. SO...I think it's time your Pug got to met his dentist!
Avatar f tn My sister, loves animals, last fall while driving she picked up a stray kitten, from the road side, it was a very sick kitten to begin with, upon taking it to the Vet, near by, it was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection, which had damaged its one eye, it has pressure on his eye, and a thin white covereing over the eye, and may have to have it surgicaly removed, he has been neutured, and declawed, once of age.
800427 tn?1324945719 95% of the time its not your wisdom tooth that hurts, its the infection that your wisdom teeth being swollen causes. usually if you get an antibiotic, the pain goes away within 2 days and you could hold off until the baby is born. i know because all 4 of my wisdom teeth needed to come out. i was in agony and i mean agony. the doctor told me i couldnt get them out for at least 2 months cause th oral surgeon is booked. I freaked. he then told me about the infection piece i mentioned above.
Avatar f tn t want to contradict mammo , there is another major problem, which is overlooked, could be due to individuals that have dry mouth, who usualy also have a slow digestion, and when you drink milk or milk products, will have bad breath. You must have a big cavity, that food gets stuck in it , to give you bad breath. Also a crown, that the cement is partially gone, brush and floss cannot get to, also can give you bad breath .
Avatar n tn Hi shar03! I am in no way a "certified" dental expert, however, when someone (myself included) spends countless hours on the internet trying to find the source of a "smell problem", you tend to learn a thing or two..... Anyway, it sounds to me that you MAY have what's called "impacted wisdom teeth." It's where your wisdom tooth/teeth are stuck between open and close in your gum.
Avatar n tn //www.oramd.com/bad-breath-cause.htm , maybe it can help you.
1421715 tn?1289238738 Agree with Karla, poor dental care can cause bad breath and can also cause systemic problems. Bad breath can also be a sign of something internal going on. I would give the dog's mouth a good inspection to see if anything looks nasty, red, swollen, etc as there may be an infection going on. If you press on the gums, to they bleed easily? They should be a nice pink color. Make sure to check way in the back of the mouth around the back molars, on the outside and the inside of the tooth.
Avatar f tn I can manage with the bad breath, but just wanted to know if others with IBS if they get bad breath. Do you suffer with IBS????? Does anyone have bad breath when constipated or having flare up with IBS??
Avatar f tn ve been using a special tooth gel and mouthwash as well as rinsing with a special probiotic powder which has helped reduce my bad mouth breath but the nose is still the same. The nose breath gets even worse when i start my menstrual cycle or the day after drinking alcohol. I have also tried nose irrigation systems and drank oregano oil just in case it was a fungus, but nothing helps.
Avatar n tn I used to suffer from bad breath and I tracked it down to food particles being trapped inbetween my teeth, that brushing twice a day wasn't removing .... I would highly recommend that if you are not doing so already to start flossing between your teeth at least once a day, and especially before you go to bed.
Avatar f tn First, only your doctor call tell you if it is "normal." Every surgery is different with varying post-op expectations. You should definitely call your doctor directly as this may not be what they are expecting for your healing. Bleeding almost always stops within 24 hrs for oral surgery. If you are bleeding then call your doctor immediately. It is also possible that you are in the early stages of a "dry socket" or infection.
Avatar m tn Why is it that after I brush my teeth, it still stinks and I have a bad taste in my mouth?
Avatar f tn I am 27. I have bad breath and bad taste in mouth all the time. Brush teeth daily. Dentist says culculus accumulates due to acid from throat. No hurtburn. Dry mouth. I cant even talk to anyone. Any solution?
Avatar f tn Alright ladies I'm 22w+2 and I'm starting to cut my wisdom teeth can I have them removed while I'm pregnant???
Avatar f tn I have to temporarily mask my breath with breath mints because gum does not work. but that last about 5 minutes and the bad breath comes back, but eating a box of Altoids within a few days also has caused more cavities for me. I've licked my wrist to see if my saliva smells but thats not it really. Whenever I floss in between my crowns thats where the smell comes from, it lingers on the floss and its really gross but the other teeth don't smell only the ones with the crowns.
Avatar f tn i had 3 cavities and they all fell out by themselves but when i floss the area where i had the cavities bleed and smell awful and i think that is causing me to have bad breath what can i do to fix this?
