In the absence of redness, scaling, discharge and pain in the area, this may not be something that you should be very worried about. Just avoid manipulating the area. Avatar n tn Hi, The wrinkles that occur in skin after prolonged exposure to water are sometimes referred to as pruney fingers or water aging. This is a temporary skin condition where the skin on the palms of the hand or feet becomes wrinkly. So this is a natural phenomenon and you need not worry about this as long as they come back to normal. You could wear gloves if you want. Let me know if you need any other information. Regards.
Avatar m tn It won't hurt you in any way, just make sure you protect your pillow from the oil. The nice thing about olive oil is that it all-natural, no chemicals or mysterious engineered ingredients. Topical treatments for the skin can reduce the look of wrinkles ...whether it costs a buck ninety nine or a thousand dollars an ounce, if it holds in moisture, it can make the skin tissue look a little better.
Avatar n tn they appeared quite fast, and are very fine textured, with a blotchy skin quality as well.. The wrinkles appeared on my tops of hands first, and this is still the main place they show, but they also began appearing noticeably all over my body. Avatar f tn Hi, The skin of the hands is delicate and much exposed to certain irritants like chemicals from soaps and detergents, abrasive lotions and creams ,heat and cold. These may dry the skin causing wrinkles, scaling and in some cases even eczema. As the hands are vulnerable, it is wise to use hand creams that contain sunscreens and moisturizers like vitamin E. Use only a mild and bland cleanser like Cetaphil to wash the hands.
Avatar m tn Okay, so after a lot of research I have found NO explanation of this but I have come to a conclusion of my own. I have wrinkles in my scalp. Much more noticeable with buzzed or very SHORT hair. Started throughout my SECOND growth spurt (@ 17) and have been there ever since. Most people that have this same issue had it begin around the same time between age 16 and 20.
Avatar n tn com get some cell power and put a few drops on your knuckles, this works better than eucerin, or other hand creams, cell power is made from fruits and veggies stored in a big vat in water under the sun in plam springs for 7 months, when bottled it's very potent. So potent it stopped the spread of my stage 2 melanoma in 2011. You can apply it to all kinds of skin problems and you can drink it. It balances your ph so your body becomes alkaline. Cancer can't survive in alkaline cells...

Avatar m tn just after you turn off the shower, but while your still in the shower and your still wet, take some baby oil and just put a little in your hands, a little goes a long way, rub hands together then rub the oil all over yourself where your having problems with dry skin. Rub it in good, then just very lightly pat yourself dry with a towel. It's actually much better for your skin if you can air dry.......but not everyone is willing to do that. Lol! Good luck to you!

Avatar f tn s and now being 32 it seems it is showing up. My skin all over my whole body is crosshatched, like where every single line in the skin is realllllll deep. In my 20's i had people tell me my hands looked old, but other than that, they said I looked 18 until a few years ago. It's like it spreads. Now it's my whole body. Avatar f tn In college I lifted weight for 3 weeks and got a thick stretch mark on my arm. I said fine, I just don't have to lift weights. At 21 I got some fine stretch marks on my hip from working at a restaurant. Life will go on. At 24, I developed a double wrinkle around my neck, thinning of the skin over the clavicles, and rosacea (what a year!). I thought it was from the jock itch cream I was taking and I waited for the wrinkles to fill back in which they didni't. Then I forgot about it.
