I’m usually facing a white wall in a pretty dim room upon waking up, but for a second most mornings I see dark dots all over my vision only when I first open my eyes. If I close them again for a few seconds, I still see dark dots in my vision for just a second before the wall is clear. Any explanation for this? Is it a symptom of migraines with aura? I’m hoping it’s nothing serious that’s been overlooked.
After I recovered from that then this is when i started having problems opening my eyes after waking up. Sometimes I experience pain because of inflammation due to the extreme dryness of my eyes. I kept asking God what could this be and so i started doing my research on the internet and so forth. Well finally tracked down how the cause of this started. I use an eye brown growth stimulator to help my eye brows grow and i did apply a bit on my eye lids to help them grow also.
Last night I tried the Refresh PM and it seemed to help my left eye but my right eye was still slammed shut and it woke me up about 3. Finally about 4 I was able to get it to open comfortably enough to put some eyedrops in and then went to sleep. It wasn't swollen shut upon waking up. I wonder if this means it's not going to work or if it takes a few days to actually work. This whole thing is almost unbearable. I'd like to sleep again. Thanks for your help!
I wake up in the morning with the area around my left eye very swollen. And my eye is slightly "teary".
I've been told by and eye doctor that I have allergy eyes, but I've tried allergy meds. and they do not seem to help.
And why is it only my left eye? The swelling goes down a little during the day, but settles in a bag and my eye. It looks awful.
The doctor prescribed glasses for computer and reading since I am nearing 40 and he says that it seems to be eye strain, but I am not convinced. My eye hurts the minute I wake up and does not get better when I am not reading or working on the computer. I have been getting headaches behind this eye, and have now started to feel pressure next to my nose (sinus?) Some days are worse than others, but seems to be getting worse overall. The other day I took an allergy pill and it seemed to help......
I never experienced this situation before. When I wake I have difficulty opening my eyes. The feel like they are stuck and won't open. I need to put eyes drops to make them work. It started about 3 weeks after I had my cataract surgery. I was instructed to use Durezol anti-inflammatory drops which I continue to use and need to continue for another 4 weeks according to the doctor's instructions.

For the last week I've woken to a red swollen left eye{lid and under eye.} What can I put on my eye to relieve the

Hi- I know this has been a while, but I was just wondering if you had found any answers. My double vision started about 3 years ago after I too suffered a semi breakdown. I had a bunch of tests for other symptoms & nothing came back. They gave me Xanax for my anxiety- so I assumed it was that. My symptoms come & go, but now I notice when I'm tired I get dizzy (along with ringing in my ears) and sometimes when I wake up I'll have temporary double vision.
I think I’ve had a cyst under my upper eyelid since early October. I bought a new mascara and I got too close to my eyelash follicles on one of my eyes…as a result it swelled up (it went away within a day) and developed a little bump near my top lash line.
Over the next month it was a regular occurrence to wake up with this swollen eye but it would go away within a couple hours or a day. Things escalated at the beginning of November when I noticed I had lost some eyelashes where the bump was.

This doesn't happen overnight, but at least once a week. I go to sleep and during a dream, I wake up but my body is still sleeping. I can hear everything going on around me, but my body isn't awake.I try to move or scream so my husband will wake me. I hear myself making noises, or feel myself moving, but it really isn't happening. It lasts for maybe 30 seconds or up to a minute. When I do wake up, I am very scared.
Why do men wake up erect and ready to go? When I wake up in the morning, sex is the last thing I am thinking about but my BF always wants a little action. I don't mind it but it takes me a while to get excited and he doesn't seem to need anything to get in the mood. Just wake up and ready to go. He is very considerate and good at it so it's nice. No one has been able to figure this one out. It is at its worse i the Morning when I wake up. The eye lid is full of fluid, which looks like my tears . It drains slowly throughout the day and fills back up over night. I've taken antibiotics, Steroid drops, ointments . Nothing has worked. I thought it was allergies because the exact same thing happened to me last year and it lasted for 2 months and went away on its own. I don't want to go through another two months of this agony.
Ok ladies I'm 39 +3 weeks pregnant and I'm not too concerned but I am alittle about my swelling yesterday I swelled up pretty good in my feet and hands usually I only swell in my face after I wake up. I didn't drink as much water as I could of yesterday so I'm thinking maybe its cuz of that. I'm drinking as much water as I can today and I'm still kinda swollen in my hands and if I'm up to long the swelling bothers my feet all the way up my ankles and part of my leg.
It also looks kinda colored even when my other eye is open. I have been seeing some flashes too in the right corner of my left eye when I move it. But that's been going on for like 2 maybe 3 weeks, It's been freaking me out. I went went to the Ophtalmologist a month ago and he said everything was fine. So why am I seeing this if I'm ok?? I told my parents about it, about the flashes and my blind spot blinking and they won't take me seriously...

ve had a weird thing happen in the mornings. When I wake up, like when I open my eyes for the first time in the day (or sometimes at night if I get up to go to the bathroom), I'll see a ring of light, or almost an orb of light, for a second or two, and then it goes away. It's almost like a flash or light, but it's in a circular shape. It seems almost like I'm seeing my eyes open from the wrong end, if that makes any sense.
Last July, I visited my boyfriend and the first day I'm there I am fine. Then the next day I start getting itchy hives on my chest and upper back. Sometimes, it starts itching around my eyes. I went to my eye specialist who said it could be due to low blood pressre while Im sleeping my blood pressur is lower. ? can low blood pressure actually cause a migraine aura. I am also getting ringing in ears. Is this a migraine aura or something else. I have really bad anxiety about my health..can anyone relate>?
