why foot cramps happen

Hi...I still get the vibration and cramps in my foot...it always seemed to happen when I changed my shoes...one style to another..... I am still having this issue...tho not like b4 as that is the case with many of my symptoms...but I had a month or more of the vibrating, now I have had a few nights of cramps in the arch of my feet. My hands tend to cramp when I hold something too long.....

How early did you guys start to feel little cramps/twinges? I'm only 4 weeks 3 days with my first and I have little cramps/pulling feelings on and off. Not severe, though.

Hi all, In the past 2 days I have experiences the most painful and uncomfortable cramps in the bottom of my foot, my toes are curling up and are stiff. They are coming about 4 times per day and lasting 30-40 minutes of agony each time. Any ideas of what this is????

Ok i get cramps in my leg when sleep but this is different. Its the top of my foot and like a shooting pain to my calf. My foot and calf is more painful especially if i touch it. When i walk it hurts but i being ignoring it for the past 4days. But its not going away at all,, i have a appointment in the a.m but should i be concern?? This ever happen to anyone else??

I get foot cramps, especially if I'm doing something with the foot. Unfortunately I have so many problems with my legs that it's not safe for me to drive.

I've been having constant foot cramps. Podiatrist recommended some stretches and stuff, but also suggested a thyroid test. FT3 is 3.22 (2.57-4.43) FT4 is 1.17 (0.64-1.77) TSH is 4.24 (0.27-4.2) Anti-Tg is 41.14 (1000 (<5.61) So the TSH is just a hair too high, but the anti-TPO is off the chart. Is there a thyroid problem or not? What does this mean? I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist, but I just want to get ahead of the game.

Foot cream rubbed on the back of my calves helped. So did soaks in hot water and showers. Get hubby to give you a leg rub. Heating pad on the legs where it hurts or a warm water bottle. Exercise helps to keep the blood flowing. Wooden massage tool. Hop something helps soon! I feel your pain! I'm going through the exact same thing right now!!

Im six weeks today and ive been getting mild cramps in my groins and slight acheing in my left hip it doesnt happen all the time just every now and then why does this happen and has anyone had the same thing

Foot/leg cramps are pretty common with anyone with HCV, also pretty common when someone is dehydrated. Take magnesium and potassium also make sure you are drinking half your body weight in water a day and try a glass of tonic water (it contains quinine which helps with the cramps - the foot doctor told me this and I found it to be true) before you go to bed. That is when I got the worst cramps at night, they'd wake me up yowza like someone was stabbing me to death!

It happens when I lift my feet off the floor, when I am lying in bed and the worst is when I am driving I get cramps in the toes on my right foot and it is a little scary...I am afraid that I will lift my foot off the brake or push down on the gas inappropriately when these cramps hit! nygirl swears by drinking tonic (quinine) water, lots of it. I've only had it happen once since starting tx, and I tried it, but since my episodes are sporadic at best, I am not the best judge of it's effectiveness. Certainly worth a try, cheaper than potassium supplement, which I have used in the past. I'm not a big banana person.

I get foot cramps when I lye down and when I drive. I soon as my feet don't touch the ground they curl and hurt a lot. Anybody with that ? please help.

I just stood up to fast cuz my sister called me and when I got to her room I got the light headed feeling and is everything from my face to my thighs were tingiling why does this happen??? I get those kind of toe cramps, and I also get ones that cause my big toe to spread away from the second toe. It looks like it's making a "V". Sometimes they're painful, other times it's not. When it's not painful, I get a pulling sensation on the top of my foot. But I can't feel my feet half the time anyways, so they're probably all painful. I just feel some, and don't feel others.

It comes on having walked the shortest of distances. When I stretch the foot out it is also painful as would happen when trying to get rid of cramp. It is primarily in the right foot but the left foot is joining in too now. But I've really only heard of cramp in the instep of the foot. I'm 32 weeks with my 2nd and the scariest thing happened. I was sleeping and woke up to my leg being locked. My foot was turned in and I couldn't move it without standing and that killed. I massaged the muscle on the front of my calf and it finally went away only to happen again. This was a reapeated process for about 10 minutes. It was like someone was holding my foot over. I couldn't control it and it hurt so bad! Has this ever happened to anyone else?
