who is the zegerid guy

Has anyone tried Zegerid? So far I have tried Prevacid, Aciphex, Prilosec,Protonix, and Nexium. Aciphex gave me bad side effects and Nexium made my reflux symptoms worse. Prilosec did absolutely nothing for me. I was successfully treated for H. Pylori in Nov 07. Since then I have been suffering from Water Brash and now heartburn. I don't know where to turn. My GI now wants me to take Zegerid(isn't this med just like Prilosec with sodium?).

Thanks for the input .....I like the idea of the sodium bicarb .. that is an old-fashioned remedy by Dad drank by the gallon it seems as I recall as he suffered from GERD but nobody had a diagnosis back then other than "indigestion". So all these yrs. later we know that the GI stuffs come from my side of the family and the allergies, too!

m due dec 9th the app says I concieved the 18th of march but the doc says the 11th so within that week I concieved, I wuld its guy b but its awful close and spern can last for 5 days I think, so....I wud do a paternity test once the baby is here. But good luck.

It could be either guy. If you had known you were pregnant and had an early ultrasound, such as in the 7th week, and that early ultrasound had said you were due October 20, you might have been able to say that the first guy was more likely to be the dad than the second guy. But by week 34, using ultrasound data to try to guess at a conception date has a margin for error of +/- three weeks either direction.

Sure, guy 2 is more likely because of when you would have possibly ovulated and the lack of ejaculation, but the consequences of being wrong about this would be pretty serious. Sperm can live a long time in a woman's system, and sometimes women ovulate early. If guy 1 had sperm in his pre-ejaculate and you did ovulate early (some women ovulate on day 8 of their cycle), it could be him. If you never do a DNA test, you will do a disservice to yourself, your child and both guys.

Certainly you could track down guy #2 if you really had to, but the issue is whether or not you should also come clean to guy #1 now. As I said, if guy #2 gets a DNA test done, will word get around? If so, you're much better telling guy #1 now.

It sounds more likely that the second guy is the father than the first guy, but your earliest ultrasound suggests you conceived on or around May 12 +/- 5 days, so that does not rule out the first guy entirely. In your shoes I would go through the pregnancy assuming guy 2 is the father, but would definitely get a paternity test with both guys once the baby is born.

Because the dates are so close the only way to really tell who the father is , is a paternity test once the baby is born. When you sleep with more than one guy in a cycle it is really hard to.determine who the father is threw dates because you can't tell when you ovulated.

The second guy. The doctor was counting the pregnancy time period with two weeks added at the beginning when you were not pregnant yet, which is how they do count it. This is because they count from the first day of the last period, not from the date of conception. Why haven't you had a DNA test done by now?

For a March 29 due date, the window for sex that would produce a pregnancy is the first week of July. If the sex with the first guy stopped after the 22nd, he would probably be out of the running unless his sperm lived an unusually long time in your body.

If that was a real period July 2 thru 8, your due date would be April 9th and the second guy would be the father. Sex in the week to ten days before your period is not in the fertile window and is unlikely to result in pregnancy.

At what point in the pregnancy did your doctor tell you that your due date is May 28? Was it from an ultrasound?

If your doctor knows you have this issue and has told you that he feels it is the second guy, that is the advice to go with. He is the one who has access to your records. He will be able to see when your first ultrasound was and what the size of the baby was at that time, etc. Get a DNA test when the baby is born so you will never need to wonder again.

Hi, it sounds like the first guy is the dad, like you conceived around December 7. If the baby is here, what is stopping you from getting a DNA test? Then you won't have to live with the what-ifs.
