Later Clobitasol Propinate cream was prescribed along with 10 days course of Doxycycline. But nothining happened. The white spots and skin discoloration refused to go away.

However, more than 90 percent people are diagnosed based on MRI only, which shows multiple demyelinating plaques (so may be the lesions are not demyelinating plaques). The number of plaques increases with MS flare. Since you also have other symptoms suggestive of peripheral neuropathies, you must get tested for diabetes, thyroid disorders, lupus, and electrolyte imbalance. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
My current neuro saw small white matter sub cortical lesions on an MRI from a couple years ago. I am 26, is this normal? And how does he rule out MS if there are lesions? Can lesions heal? Or become invisible on other mri's?

The scaly patches caused by psoriasis, called psoriatic plaques, are areas of inflammation and excessive skin production. Skin rapidly accumulates at these sites and takes a silvery-white appearance. Ointment and creams containing coal tar, dithranol (anthralin), corticosteroids like desoximetasone (Topicort), vitamin D3 analogues (for example, calcipotriol), and retinoids are routinely used. Argan oil has also been used with some promising results.

since my early childhood, I have always had some skin problems. Now, I have some brownish spots on my neck, under my armpits, on my chest, belly, on my back, and around my waist. recently, the spots have spread a little to my forehead, chin, and near my jaws. I visited a dermatologist in 2006, but the creams he prescibed did not cure me. I visited another one 2009, she told me that the cause of the problem maybe the side-effects of medicine that I once had.

Now, in the beggining of Sept, i noticed that i started to itch again, and this time, i would get weird plaques of skin and my skin was really dry and flakey. This went on, until a couple days ago, when I started my period again. Well, now i shaved again, and i have HORRIBLE itchy red bumps. they itch so bad, it disrupts my daily life. ALSO, i have little white looking zits too, scattered. they are around the red bumpy areas, but they are NOT in or on a hair follicle.
I noticed yesterday that some very very small part of my nipple skin (upper surface) tend to fall or peel off. I have been using moisturizing oil which might had made it easy to peel. The nature of my nipple skin is not dry. I have a wart like or plaque on it's tip/head only sometimes when I shower and becomes erect it becomes very white and later when back to normal it becomes pink.

I had an MRI done to rule out blocked carotid artery and that ended up fine but found scattered white matter plaques and one enhanced (first mri was 6 months earlier and no enhancements) So now we are in the dx stage to see if I have MS. I consider myself lucky to have had this noticed so soon as I have no MS symtpoms. My question is, based onthe location of the plaques (periventricular right semi ovale) I was told this is typical area for MS lesions/plaques.
I panicked and started get my healthy regime back on track and started using this topical cream(vectical), but nothing helped then i went to another dermatologist and he prescribed this steroid cream(fluocinonide) , then one day all those pink scales were completely gone but i had the white marks on my skin(since im naturally tanned) and i was releaxed for i knew these white marks will take quite a long time to go( i knew that form my past experience) as they have to get my naturally tanned sk
Hello, i got a white circular skin rash in my groin area. I think it might be ringworm but there is no outer ring. It's no bigger then the size of a quarter. I've had it for about two months now, any help would be appreciated. I lost a lot of weight so that area used shaff a lot. It used to be itchy but i've been applying various assortments of creams and it seems to have gotten smaller but it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytime soon. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Sebaceous cyst is a closed sac or cyst below the surface of the skin and fills with a fatty white, semi-solid material called sebum produced by sebaceous glands of the epidermis. It is usually painless but can become painful if infected. Then antibiotics are needed. Sometimes they may need cautery or surgical excision from a surgeon also. If painless apply warm compresses on the lump. But if it becomes painful or starts growing in size then evaluation from a dermatologist is required.

1 month ago I noticed a small flat white spot on the head of my penis about 3-4 mm in diameter. 2 or 3 other small spots about 1 mm or less in diameter have also appeared in other areas on the head of my penis. They are not raised in any way, have become more noticeable over time, and are highly visible under fluorescent light. They appear nowhere else other than on the head of my penis. The area surrounding them is not red or irritated looking.
Hi It may be very difficult to assess the problem without clinical examination. However, one possibility can be Fordyce's spots. They are small, painless, raised, pale or white bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum. They are harmless and appear in most adults, so there is no reason to panic. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100. They are painless and not itchy. They may bleed if injured or even during intercourse.

It's so weird, I panicked for like a week thinking it was head lice so I went out and boucht one of those Nit combs and used it on my hair. ALL those white oval shaped things came out, but no lice??? I'm so confused. After about three days after I combed, the white things came back. I don't understand- I fit was head lice both my son AND my husband AND everyone at my work would hair it (due to hairbrushes and headsets).

The disorder is a chronic recurring condition which varies in severity. Bath solutions and moisturizers help soothe affected skin and reduce the dryness which accompanies the build-up of skin on psoriatic plaques.

Anyway, about 7 months ago I (for some reason) checked my breast and squeezed it. I also had white stuff come out. Then it turned clear with the white substance coming into the clear stuff. Sometimes the stuff is clear, white, and sometimes it looks greenish? I went to my OB/GYN to have it checked out. Whe didn't seem very concerned and said to call back if it didn't subside so of course I did. I saw another dr. in their practice and he did not seem worried either.
