After searching a lot on the internet and after getting pm's from other patients like me. I am posting my experience. I have been suggested doxycycline 100mg for 10days. symptoms start with burning sensation near the tip of the penis followed by watery clear discharge. Infection and symptoms start within 4 to 5 days after unprotected sex with a person who is suffering from gonorrhea or chlamydia. I went to the doc the moment i had my first symptom.
My question is though my other symptoms have gone so theres no more pain in erections or whilst peeing. I still have a very small amount of white/clear discharge though and when ejaculating my semen is white and gelatinous. The urine samples and swab came back clear but showing more than normal amounts of white blood cells.
When i like to drink alcohol things seem to get worse. I wake up the next day to white discharge (not very much) and even a spot of blood. Urinating was kind of uncomfortable. I then went to the doctor and was tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia again. The tests came back negative and also did a urine sample because i thought i just had a urinary track infection from the drinking. There wasnt any bacteria in my urine. I was prescribed cipro and things seemed to be fine again........
I am so confused now.
I also sometimes feel a burning sensation while peeing at night, never in the day or morning for some reason. I have also had diarrhea and constipation for a while (but maybe that is ibs?)
What should I get tested for? I was thinking chlamydia and gonnorreah. I got tested for hiv a few months ago, and only had unprotected oral before that and after once briefly. Should I have to test for hiv again too? I read oral is not a risk.

It is best to get tested especially after sex with someone you just met. Good news is most people do not have stds however, it is with good intention and awareness that one get checked out time from time. It is normal for most men to see a little clear discharge from their urethra, especially during or after masturbation. But, for a clear mind, it would not hurt to get checked out.

Now, I have NOT had any discharge, smelly pee, or anything. Drinking and peeing out water is only thing that relieves the burn while peeing. I am fairly confused. i have already had shots taken and I started my medication today. But I still wanna know before I get the results what you guys think I have.. thank you!
I am a male had the symptoms of white discharge plus burning while i urinate one day after i received oral sex. The next day, I went to see the doctor, who prescribed me 1 tablet of Suprax for gonorrhea and 14 pills of 100 mg Doxycycline to take twice a day for 7 days.
The symptoms of chlamydia (burning while peeing and discharge) subsided during days 2-4 of taking the Doxycycline. Today is day 5, and I had a burning while I pee and what looks like clear discharge.
I am experiencing some mild and pretty constant burning in the tip of my urethra when I am not peeing. I had a new partner over the weekend. I'm not noticing any discharge, rashes, or sores. It doesn't seem to be burning during pee, just when I'm not. Does this sound like an STD? What else could it be?
