Avatar f tn I've done it, but I found it wasn't something I could sustain for very long. There are tons of great smoothie recipes, and it's good for maybe one meal a day. I found that eating breakfast and lunch was best, then a smoothie for dinner.. make sure you add a good quality protein powder to it, to insure that you get adequate amounts of protein. I might add that I did not lose weight on that regimen, because the shakes/smoothies did not satisfy me.

Different things I've read says that meat is to be limited to 5 ounces per day and no whey. Does anyone have any information on how our protein levels are reached with these limitations? I cannot eat nuts and one can only eat so many egg whites in a day.
