so my question is, my cramping has completely stopped and the bleeding i feel like was never that heavy(only when i would go to the bathroom, granted i prob did that several times an hour!) however i went in for a follow up ultrasound on friday (my beta ws 289) and there is still a bit of blood left in the uterus.. but not much bleeding and whats there is dark brown (old blood) ...is your first period after a mc really heavy typically? is that when the rest comes out ? ( sorry tmi!

s your first pregnancy then you have no history of miscarriage and unless you are bleeding or cramping really bad, why worry too much about it? Yes, a lot of women do have miscarriages, unfortunately, myself included. However, even with our history we are still excited because this is an exciting time and we understand how lucky we are. No one can make you be excited but you have nothing to lose.

My sister just started depo a few months ago and has been bleeding non stop. The doctors told her that if it does not stop this month they will have to stop giving her the shot and switch to another form of bc because her body must not be able to handle the hormones in depo. Or us aopk right when u stop bleeding cause yes u will ovulate right after... I miscarried the first bleed for 6 weeks straight then two days after I stop I had sex and BAM 4 weeks later I found out I was pregnant .... Good luck and god bless ...

Go to ER if you are still bleeding. They will do hormone checks and possibly ultrasound.

It is good that you are following up with the Dr. because he will make sure that you have passed everything and no tissue is caught, because that will cause more pain and you will want a D&C. They will want you to keep the tissue because they can test that and be able to tell if there was a chromosome abnormality, if there was a chromosome abnormaility then they know that is why you miscarried.
