when does miscarriage bleeding stop

So why did she stop bleeding? does this mean the miscarriage has happened and is now completed, or rather does it mean it is not going to happen? In other words, is she somehow all of a sudden out of the clear and the miscarriage just stopped and the baby is ok or simply did the miscarriage finish and run its course? Or is there more bleeding to come? thank you and god bless.

I had a normal menstruation in the last week of August and September and a week after my period stopped in September it has started back, so I have been bleeding for two weeks straight now! My period normally last for 3 days, does anyone have a clue why this is happening.

I know the pain also. I have had two miscarriages (the last one was March 6th). For the first miscarriage, I also had a missed abortion. I went in for an appointment, and got to hear my baby's heart beat. A couple weeks later, when I returned, there was no heartbeat. With my first miscarriage, I was depressed for well over a year.

I’m 16 and I started my period the gist of the month was on it for maybe 4 or 5 days.. didn’t think anything of it. I stopped on the 5 day and wasnts bleeding for 4 days and then I started again and have been on it for 11 days now.

Well i started to bleed april 2 i belive and i went to the Er april 7th and the said i look fine and nothing to worry about well im still bleeding i bleed heavily and then slow down and stop for an hour and then it starts again.

I had a miscarriage 8 days ago and I was wondering when the bleeding will stop, because three days ago the bleeding completely stopped, I went to sleep and when I woke up I had bright red blood. It's brown now, but yesterday the same thing happened as three days before. I just want to know, is this normal? For it to keep stopping and starting up again. And if so when can I expect it to stop? I just want to be able to try to get pregnant again.

While I was on thyroid medication before, I still had prolonged vaginal bleeding. Not until I had the Mirena IUD put in did the bleeding stop. I recently had it removed and started on the pill.

I say let your body heal wait at least 2 normal periods yes you are more fertile after but you also have a chance that your body is not healed and ready to hold on to a pregnancy yet and to answer your question no the bleeding after a miscarriage does not count as a period you have to wait till you stop then it should come a few weeks after

I have had a few issues going on with period,I had surgery on April 1st for the mirena & a d&c not due to a miscarriage or anything like that but it was for my heavy periods I was on the shot for about a yr or so & it caused a lot of problems.After about a month or so I had to have the mirena moved cause it got out of place somehow I was spotting a bit when the mirena was in & then I continued when it was out!

He said that there is nothing to do to stop a miscarriage at 6 weeks if the bleeding is caused by one, and that the bleeding might be from something else entirely, and they can't tell, and all you do is get exposed to germs and illness when you sit around in the ER waiting room. He told me what I should have done instead is to go to bed, keep well hydrated with water, and not get up except for going to the loo and eating until 24 hours after the bleeding stopped.

If i am miscarrying when can I expect the bleeding to stop completely? Why did he pregnancy test say positive like an hour later (I bought the first response kind too like I used Saturday)? Is there any way possible I could still be pregnant?

t have the cramping and back pain. Normally really heavy bleeding does mean a miscarriage. I would follow up with your dr asap to confirm..

Im not sure but im goin through the same thing but im bleeding non stop and im only 6 weeks. Just pray that u dont and i will pray or you while i am for me.

so my question is, my cramping has completely stopped and the bleeding i feel like was never that heavy(only when i would go to the bathroom, granted i prob did that several times an hour!) however i went in for a follow up ultrasound on friday (my beta ws 289) and there is still a bit of blood left in the uterus.. but not much bleeding and whats there is dark brown (old blood) ...is your first period after a mc really heavy typically? is that when the rest comes out ?
