When do sore breasts go away in pregnancy

Common Questions and Answers about When do sore breasts go away in pregnancy

sore

I've gotten aches and pains, sometimes very sharp, in my breasts since early pregnancy. It's not uncommon during pregnancy, but if it's constant and the pain is really bad you might put in a call to your OB. It can't hurt to double-check.
Hey everyone, I also wrote in 'sore breasts' and got this result. My breasts usually get sore right before I get my period and then by the end of the cycle my breasts are back to normal. I usually get my period at the end of the month, and my breats have been sore for about two weeks now, and no period yet.
When you girls y that sore breast are an early sign of pregnancy does that mean that they are sore to the touch or constantly sore?
My breasts are so sore. I will be 6 weeks tomorrow. Can someone tell me when this goes away? I didn't have this my 1st pregnancy almost 10 yrs ago.
So here I am obsessing about every little thing again. 7 weeks today (yeah!!) and so far no real problems, things seem to be good. However, I don't have a lot of pregnancy symptoms. I get 2 days of "all day all night" nausea, then it goes away, and breasts still aren't sore. A bit tender off and on, but nothing like I think they should be at this point. Super tired all the time, but I wonder if a lot of what I am experiencing is the prometrium?
I do get sore breasts sometimes couple of days b4 my period. This time my boobs got sore over a week b4 i was due to come on.My periods started but didnt las as long as usually(6 days normally and quite heavy) and was lighter than normally. My period has been finished over a week now and my breasts seem to be more sore than b4.Is it normal...never happened to me b4?! Any advice welcome!
I know sore tender breasts is a symptoms of pregnancy but it eventually goes away. I would like to hear about other womens experiences!
Some months its barely noticeable and others it is quite painful. When I was pregnant one of my first symptoms was sore breasts. I don't remember noticing them getting larger. I also didn't feel nauseous until about the 7th or 8th week. But everyone is different. Maybe wait a few days and take another test. If the soreness doesn't go away and you keep getting negative results call the doctor. Are you seeing one because of your cycles and trying to get pregnant for a year?
Just like you my last pregnancy in august 2010 was a blighted ovum. So when we went for that ultrasound last week looking for a lil bean with a heartbeat but all we say was a empty sac measuring a week behind thats all i was able to think of. My next ultrasound will be next week, i hope on monday. Tomorrow i go back to my ob and she has to officially order for me to go back. So just like you we are praying to see a lil bean with a heartbeat.
I always get fuller breasts that hurt a lot about four days till my period. When I was pregnant, it didn't go away for a while. Wait for about a week, and if your period has not come & your breast are still full & sore then take a pregnancy test.
My only prodominant (pardon the spelling) pregnancy symptom has been an achy back, which I found reassuring in a way because I actually 'felt' pregnant. On Sunday & Monday I started to feel like the achy back was lessening, and this morning it is gone alltogether. I am in a panic!! Could something have gone wrong already? If something had happened to the baby since Friday afternoon's ultrasound, would I be losing symptoms this soon?
Sore nipples and/or sore breasts are something you may experience at various times in your reproductive cycle Could you be preggers??? Have you taken or gone off birth control...or taken hormones. There's so many reasons this can happen and they can mean various things depending on what’s going on in your body at that time. I would go to a gyne doc have them checked out for sure, you can wait a few days, but if they're not any better or are worse, then get in right away. Hope is nothing...
Many women have the same exact symptoms as early pregnancy after ovulation. My breasts are always really sore after ovulation. I get cranky. I get hungry. I get cravings. I get headaches. And I get sick to my stomach. Then, there are cycles where none of that happens. You could be pregnant, but really all of those could just be normal signs of ovulation.
Also at work started to feel nausea but i haven't vomited, dizzyness while i was siting or standing for a couple of minutes, and in the middle of week also pains in lower back and around kidneys especially when i stood up, my breasts are sore on touch, had white discharge and i'm horny. Yesterday also my stomach, belly and muscles on the lower back started to be sore on the touch or when i move a lot, but nausea was away this morning with driving in the car.
Now I feel nauseated (on the verge of vomiting) all day long and it doesn't go away until like three o'clock in the morning and that's when I can finally eat something. My breasts are not sore but I'm itchy everywhere especially where my stretchmarks are, I have the Mirena in and have had it in for almost two years, and I have taken two home pregnancy tests which both came up negative. Could I be pregnant? If not what do you think is wrong with me?
I would be jumping for joy if I didn't have cramps and sore breasts. I have maybe 1 or 2 good days with outs sore breasts. I was saying to my dh today when I breast feed I'm going to look obnoxious. This pg they are huge and i'm only 4 mos. Yikes. Right now you are in panic mode and that is a result of the trauma you had going through your m/cs. Try to shut off that switch. Just relax until your app and do yourself a favor don't google or read to much about pg you will make yourself crazy!
It went away for me in the beginning of my second trimester. Now my nipples get sore or irritated from time to time.
For my first pregnancy it also happened in the second trimester, with my third pregnancy at 8 weeks I see no change in them. Usually they just got fuller before becoming bigger. But everyone's different!
You should start to feel more energetic once you hit your second trimester, although fatigue usually returns late in pregnancy when you're carrying around a lot more weight and some of the common discomforts of pregnancy make it more difficult to get a good night's sleep. 5. Tender, swollen breasts One of the early signs of pregnancy is sensitive, sore breasts caused by rising levels of hormones.
same as before. Today I woke up and my breasts were really heavy and sore. Just curious as to what else could be causing this (as my hpt was negative). Also is it normal for the breasts to start to increase within the first few months of pregnancy??
I agree it shouldn't hurt if the baby has a proper latch. it can be a bit uncomfortable when your breasts are full and the baby first begins to suck, but as soon as milk begins to let down the discomfort should ease. I honestly believe that smaller breasts are an advantage while breastfeeding. I have (now)36EE's and while BFing I had FF's...so trying to maneuver the nipple was difficult and it was almost easy to move baby around to fit the nipple instead of vice versa...
im just confused about why the pain is so bad this month. any advice would be nice. also when u get sore breasts from pg how ealy do u get it and whats the difference in the type of pain u get with af? also this can be used as open forum so feel free to chat and ask more questions here!!
Hi ladies, I have been wondering if there is anything special I should do to get my breasts and nipples ready for baby to feed? I wasn't successful in my attempts to feed my daughters and I am very adamant about making it work for this baby this time. I have heard lanolin can be used beforehand. Have any of you used it? Any suggestions? I had such sore nipples that was one of the problems I failed last time. Not to mention, they were so engorged they were flat and baby couldn't latch properly.
I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and they showed up positive right away. My breasts have been sore for about 2 weeks and I missed my period 6 days ago. So I guess my question is, when is a good time to schedule an appointment with your doctor. According to all my pregnancy apps (determined on my last period) I'm 5weeks.
You sounded just like me, i didn't really feel overwhelmingly nauseated, however, when i woke up in the morning i felt really wierd, like kinda sick, but i am a trooper and i would just tell myself it was all in my head, when in reality i was actually right about myself being pregnant!
Dont worry about your breasts not being tender. Mine come and go. It scares me when it goes away but then the next day it comes back. I mean they are slightly tender some days but extremely sore other days. It doesnt make any sense to me why this would be happening. Sounds like you should call your doctor and get an appointment and blood test! Good luck!
I'm almost 10w pregnant and have an some pretty bad nausea since i was about 5-6 weeks. It hasnt been nearly as bad the last few days, has anyone else had their nausea go away at about 10w? Ive been told its usually at the 2nd trimester mark is when it goes away for the woman that get it. I dont have my first prenatal appt until the 29th of this month and i will be 12 w by then. This is my first pregnancy and I'm just really worried.
This, my 3rd were sore around 14 and now at 16 weeks are starting to really get sore. AND grow..... Each pregnancy is different, I'm sure you are just fine. I think I missed your BFP? Congratulations to you!!
