In the paper in the American Journal for Clinical Nutrition , published ahead of print March 31st 2010 you find on the forth page in fig 2 the graph of plasma concentrations of RSV as a function of time in these humans to be dose dependent and having for 500mg (quite a high dose!) found the peak concentration of original RSV at 90min after dosing to be 14.4 nanograms/ml or 14.4 micrograms/liter. Knowing the molecular weight of RSV to be 228g/Mol this translates into 14.
Finally a few days ago i took him in again to the ER n they found out he has a virus newborns have been getting its Called Rsv n if they would have tested it before they would have found it i was So pissed!!! So now today we got out of the childerns hospital they sent him home with oxygen but to me he still seems bad but they that he was Fine!!
My eleven year old daughter has experienced odd symptoms from about four weeks of age. It seems as though she gets everything that comes along. We are frustrated to say the least. The list seems long:
-Elevated biliruben for 5 weeks at birth
-RSV and double pneumonia at 6wks
-ongoing colds and pneumonias (no less than annual) and strep rashes
-RSV at age 2 again requiring hospitalization
-Age 2-4 spontaneous vomitting on about a 30 day cycle.
My son is going to be 2 months old soon and a couple of days after he was born they told me he has RSV, i have been in and out of the hospital so many times and he dose not seem to be getting any better. I have read everybody stories and How they lost their loved ones and i am so scared that it might happen to my son. Please is there anything that i can do to prevent this from getting worse???
m on day 22 and starting to feel better. When i asked the same question when i started i got multiple answers. U need to find someone w/ the same drug issue. I had 1 person tell me roughly 3 weeks and he was right. Every drug is different. The people on this site know what their talking about, so use them. I would be really careful my daughter was a preemie and as soon as we got home she ended up back in the hospital with rsv because this is the time of year its out. And because she was so small she almost died and ended up in a childrens hospital for 5 weeks. It was horrible.
He has pneumonia every other month (since birth), he has also had bronchiolitis (without RSV), bronchitis, H1N1, and most currently RSV. When he was two we removed his tonsil and adenoids in hopes to help his asthma symptoms. While it did decrease the amount of sinus infections he had, it did nothing to help any other area.
He is on Advair, 115/21 two puffs twice daily, and Allegra (for unknown allergies).
When my 4 year old had RSV when he was 5 weeks old, also on a vent for 11 days, (he had RSV a second time when he was 2 1/2 in the hospital 5 days no vent.) they said he could end up having asthma. Every time we go see the pulmonologist *sorry if I spelled it wrong, they ask how often does he couh at night. None, doen't cough in the day time either only when he is sick.
So from what I was told and understand it does sound like he has asthma.
Then fever up to 104 and deydration the next took her to the ER they put her on IVs but could not find whats wrong. She has a history of RSV could this be what it is again. I dont know what o do?
So they peak at night and early morning? So do you mean "lowest" in the late afternoon? I do have a great aunt that had thyroid problems. That's all I know of. I guess I should get some repeat testing.

On 20th May, I kissed one girl and partially enter without a condom, but I immediately stopped 2 seconds later as i realized i was not supposed to do it. But I got intense headaches and tonsillitis within 24 hours after the exposure, lasting 2 weeks till recovery.
On 8th August, i had unprotected sex with a girl. She got similar fever-like symptoms on the morning of the second day. Then she went to doctor's , and the doctor told her it was tonsillitis.
I decided after his heart surgery at 3 months to stay at home with him. when he started preschool. I interviewed many preschools. I told them his lenthgy medical history and asked if they would be comfortable takiening him on. 16 of them came right out and said yes. and that was the end of discussion.
No my daughter gets pneumonia a lot...because she has asthma...when they have it they will have a high fever non stop and usually medicine won't make it go away...also they won't eat when they have pneumonia either... like anything...she probably does have a cold and you can't really do.anything for it except let it go away on its own and try to make her as comfy as possible.
He has always been a little snorty/congested, but when he got a mild case of RSV in February the runny nose never seemed to go away. I have taken him to several allergists. He did have the skin test which came back negative. One doc. said he needed to be treated for nasal infections (each test seemed to show a different bacteria) but after several rounds of different antibiotics I didn't feel comfortable and left that doc.
