I have been taking birth control for about 3 years now. I was supposed to start a new pack on Tuesday and also got my period that day too. Because of some miscommunication with the insurance company I wasn't able to get a new pack till Sunday, Which worked out cuz then I just did a sunday start on my pack.
My question is I know it takes 7 days to take effect, but whenever my bf and I have sex he withdrawals before he ejaculates and have never ejaculated in me.
My girlfriend just started taking birth control pills (not sure what brand) about 3 weeks ago. Is it safe for me to ejaculate in her at this point? She said it was, then a girl friend of mine said I had to wait 3 months to do that. Looking through the internet I have found the same conflicting information.
So when is it ok to start?
I had my daughter a little over two months ago and started my birth control the 17th of July (I was still having on and off again bleeding but it stopped about a week or so after taking my birth control) I started my period on the 3rd of August and it stopped completely yesterday up until I had sex last night. I was on birth control in November but I was taking it irregularly had my period at the beginning of the month and then I had sex on the 12th of November and got my period on the 13th so i stoped the birth control peroid ended the 17th then had sex on the 19th. My ultra sound puts me at 10 weeks and 2 days which means I had conceived on the 18th. A day wrong. When would I have gotten pregnant on the 12th or 19th??
some people it can be months or years to get pregnant after birth control, others like myself it can happen instantly. i know it took my mom quite a few years to get pregnant with me after she had quit taking birth control. it just varies, but of course try the ovulation kits or talk to your doctor about it and make sure everything is going good in there. good luck to you both though.
s no reason to have an unplanned pregnancy when you can gets condoms for free and other forms of birth control for free depending on your income. If you're not working then you have no income and would be eligible for free birth control.
I'm sorry if I sound like I'm preaching. I've just seen so many young women on here that were not ready to get pregnant but would still have sex without protection.

So, my understanding was not to have sex the entire week of taking the pills. After taking my last antibiotic, the next day I had sex, and my boyfriend ejaculated inside me. I have been taking my BC pill (been taking for last year) every day as usual even during the time of the antibiotics. I checked my calendar and we had sex the day of my ovulation. I looked online later and everyone says that you shouldn't have sex during the antibiotics AND one week after.
Plan B is a pill you take after having unprotected sex, it is supposed to stop you from ovulating for a few days so the sperm can't meet an egg, it is not an abortion pill so it is not 100% effective. Plan B is not a form of birth control, if that is what you are looking for you need to go get some from your doctor.

I would say you do have a higher chance of getting pregnant during the placebo week than you normally would since this is your first month on the pill. The placebo week is meant to keep you on track with your pills. During the placebo week is when you are supposed to be menstruating. If you didnt m enstruate during that time you could possibly have ovulated. Even while you are on the pill I would recommend using a condom also...pills are not 100% effective.

1. Could I stop taking my birth control pills tommorrow even though I had sex with him last on Sunday?

I was only taking it for 2 days before I had unprotected sex. I took the pill that night after having sex, but also had sex in the morning as well and missed that day's dose. I started bleeding on Sunday (October 21st) and am still bleeding. it's not very heavy though. I had the sex on the 18th and 19th of October. My breasts are a little sore and puffy and I'm more hungry than usual. I don't know if those are early warning signs of pregnancy or not?
