I have been on Metformin, Januvia and Glimeperide for a few years. They are not controlling my diabetes. She wanted me to try Victoza and give up the Januvia. I got over fear of giving myself the shot, but on the 3rd day I began to get sick. On the 4th and 5th days I couldn't even go to work. Changed shot to before bed instead of morning and it made no difference. After a little over a week I stopped it. Lost 5 lbs cause I couldn't eat anything.

I have been trying to google this and find out what I can in the difference between these 2 areas as far as where lesions present in different areas. So far I have only become more confused. Thank you in advance.

Thankyou both so much for answering so fast, I will change the time I take the Januvia and will make sure I eat enough when taking the Metformin. I want to give the Januvia a chance but as I said the stomach pain is not a side effect I could tolerate for too long. Thanks again for explaining how these meds work, it helps to understand.

You posted on an old thread that's from 2008. You should start your own thread so you have one that is dedicated to you. These older threads tend to get overlooked. An opiate is an opiate so switching from vicodin to percocet will not help. Sure, it will get you off the vicodin but you will then be hooked on percocet. Our brain can't tell the difference between the two. All it cares about is that you're filling the receptors.

I aked him about the twitching and he said is a common syptom of radiculopathy.But the thing is i have them on belly and face as well.But the truth is i had those after o notice and worries about twiching to be honest.So i dont know what to make of it. 1)Also what if someone both have radiculopathies and als? what difference lead the neurologist to believe its not als but radiculopathy? 2)also i noticed mouth paresthesia like buzzing or tingling in mouth and tongue?
