I had NO side effects back then. My doc is thinking we will try serzone. Does serzone work similar to remeron? If remeron works will serzone likely work when all these others just make me worse? I'm so frustrated.

Sounds to me like you need to find a personal physcian rather than your local hospital. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with your local hospital, but when you have a PCP (Primary Care Physcian) they get to "know" the real you. When you "present" at the hospital with a set of symptoms, that is all they see......the symptoms. They don't always see the person. So, they treat the symptoms and send you on your way.

Hi all, I note a mention of Trazadone as being less addicting and helps blood pressure. I'm sure Summer123 wanted to share this information in good faith as Trazadone has been very helpful in her case. But my understanding from reliable sources is that it is in the same class as Serzone which was pulled off the market due to liver toxicity. Just because Trazadone is still out there I don't believe it is completely safe for everyone.
