Can I do the equivalent of Invirase without the norvir booster? What about going off meds all together and just monitor? Thanks for any imput. My doc just isnt interested in anyone that takes interest in their own health.

We had sex on July 31st. She ain't tell me until August 4. I went to the doctor that same day so I started the meds on August 4th.

I have been on it for a few years and the only side effect i had is loose stools. Oatmeal for breakfast daily helped with that. I also have elevated kidney function. Right now i am TTC so they took me off the Truvada because they said that pregnancy can really increase these symptoms so they changed it to epzicom.

Fortunately, these are not common for most of the drugs used for PEP. there are no interactions I am aware of between Prozac and the medications you mention. Parenthetically, one way to minimize the likelihood that uncommon medication interactions is to make sure that you are using the same pharmacy to get your prescriptions filled. Pharmacists are supposed to (and typically do) comprehensively review new medications for possible interactions.

I recently started the Norvir, Reyataz, Truvada combo. This is my first time taking "the meds" after being hiv + for 20 years. I have been on them for only 11 days. I have weird side effects: headaches, queasy stomach, and fatigue/weakness. I told my doctor, and he said, to "tough it out for another week, and he'll see if he needs to change the combination, or switch meds.
