You will all will be fine...relax there are so many more major things that you and your wife are exposed to on a daily basis that are 1000x more damaging to your health than mometasone furoate cream. Hell there is worse chemicals in your food than what's in the cream.

This sounds like irritation, for which mometasone, a mild steroid, is a good treatment. 5 days is about right. Redness can last for a couple of weeks after irritation goes away. You should ignore it. If the burning returns, try the mometasone again for a couple of days. Stay in touch with your doctor for further advice. No need for another opinion--it sounds as though you got the right one the first time around.

I have never really paid to much attention because it never hurt, burn, hitch, nothing. what i see is redness and some red spots which come out if i get an erection.
i then decided to go to see a doctor few months ago. He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.

I've recently went to a doctor because of a possible hemorrhoid problem. The skin around the anus was also red. He prescripted me a meconazole nitrate 2%-hydrocortizone 1% cream for the rash but I don't see it getting better! And do believe me this is much more annoying than the hemorrhoids themselves as I cannot freely move, go to the toilet or even touch it!
The whole area is red with a pale red line in the middle of it!

Hello, i have had a rash for almost 3 months and it was originally diagnosed as atopic dermatitis by my dr. He prescribed me Mometasone furoate 0.1%. I used about a tube and half of this cream rather quickly about 3-4 days on my bakc, chest, arms, groin area. After the rash appeared to have gone away, it would come back after i would work out and sweat. After the rash continued to appear i went to my dermatologist where they took two biopsies of skin from my back.

My problems started in 2016 november. I began using Mometasone (Elocon 0.1%) intermittently for 1 year, 'cos there was two, 2-3 mm sized red patch on my glans. A half of a year later suddenly the half area of my glans became red (in 2017 autumn). Then I continously used Elocon for more half of a year, six days per months. Summa 40..50 days i think.
I must inform you about the fact that I have been regularly using Melacare for the past 3 years and I read from few articles on the net that , prolonged application of mometasone creams can lead to skin atrophy since memetasone is a steroid. Now my question what can I apply to reverse this skin atrophy condition or will this actually self-heal the natural way ? would be very grateful to you if you would let me know at the earliest possible time. At the beginning of this year I was given Hydroquinone USP 4% skin bleaching cream and Mometasone furate cream USP 0.1%. I returned for a follow up and was then prescribed Acanya Clindmycin Phosphate and benzoyl peroxide gel 1.2 and 2.5% to apply in the morning. Also was given Atralin Tretinon gel 0.05 to apply in the evenings. It's working but only seems to mask or treat the problem. I want to be cured and free of using creams by curing this. Is this not possible Dr. Kaur?
I had the same problem,but what i think the problem is P.H of your scalp is unbalanced.....when i started picking it was around puberty. i graduated cosmetology school. Get head and shoudlers shampoo let it sit on your scalp 3-5 mins you might feel slight tingle its the pyrithione zinc working !!!!!!

In the meantime, all you can do is to soak your feet in warm water with baby oil, use a pumice stone to gently rub away some of the hard skin and apply lots of moisturiser cream.
hi only testing would confirm but it for sure appears yeast and got irritated from scratching. With all the harsh things your putting on it, its a wonder its not competely inflamed esp with oitment. You might want to talk to your pharmissit about some "cream" that would help if you cant see a doctor.
I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.

Could using this cream made my folliculitis that was not diagnosed yet worse? I have read online that this type of rash is common with heroin users and this concerns me because the prostitute that i had sex with might have been a heroin user which means that she would be at a higher risk of having hiv.
