I have a small genital wart on my foreskin and I started to use imiquimod cream recently . The instruction says that I should use the imiquimod cream during bedtime . However , I have more erections during sleep (than day time ), the imiquimod cream might be wiped off by the underwear when I have an erection. In this case , Can I use imiquimod during the day instead of bedtime ?

Unlike molluscum wherein the virus resides on the lesion, the HPV virus of warts may reside in skin cells for certain periods .It is best to have this removed through cautery or freezing.

Yes, I'm not saying that Aldara acts on HPV itself. It is indeed the body's own immune system that gets rid of HPV-infected cells, however since the virus is not systemic and lays on the outskirts of your skin, it is hard for the immune cells to detect it and excrete cytotoxins that destroy compromised cells.
