Avatar f tn the main reason for wanting to go back is because the muscle tension in my back is caused by the lack of flexibility in them. since i can't hunch or move my back around, my muscles tense up incredibly and i have a severe amount of pain. and i see the only solution is to bring back the natural flexibility of the spine, because this unnatural solution of surgery clearly hasn't been working.
Avatar f tn At the areas that recently are over-used or broken, there is often a bruise, most typically at the knees. Muscle tension is also observed, but most likely due to pain than anything else. My pain is chronic and difficult to reduce when my symptoms flare up. I also have depression and anxiety disorders, which may be indicators of further problems. I am likely to believe that my problem is hereditary as my mother also has similar symptoms, if to a different degree.
Avatar n tn The trainer certainly used some new muscles, my legs were like rubber for the first few days, and I only used it for a few minutes. After one week, I go on it for 5 minutes at a low setting, but I've been stopping because my heart rate goes up to 140. Is that normal for someone who hasn't done any hard exercise for decades? I'm not that out of breath, no chest pains or anything like that, and my legs aren't that tired.
Avatar f tn I have severe psoriasis on my hands. I'm looking for a good systemic, holistic, medicinal type treatment of the cause. BUT, as for treating the symptoms of dry, scaling, cracking fingers (10 or 20 cracks on a single finer some times)... I have found one moisturizing cream is much better than the rest. It is called no-crack super hand creme sold by Restoration Hardware surprisingly. It's about $15 for a pretty big container of 16oz I think.

Also, don't use a bottle with the open end pointed towards you, it can cause a vacuum that can actually tear your support muscles and pull your uterus forward, like a uterine prolapse. In short, don't use something to masturbate with that's not safe, and get educated on what is safe.
Avatar n tn I had lost sensation to my right leg, as well as control of my bladder and bowel (equina caudina is what term they used.) I went into the ER and from there into emergency surgery to repair what was causing the paralysis, a rather large fragment from the L5 compressing vital nerves in the spine. After the surgery, the pain lifted but it took many months for partial recovery of the leg, and to develop the muscles to control the bladder and bowel.

Avatar f tn you have to do it after a hot shower. If your vagina is a clock (anus being 6 o clock) run your thumb while pulling slightly from 3 o clock (one leg) to 9 o clock (other leg). Dooo not go to 12. Don't know why, but that's what the midwife who ran my birth class told me. Lol so, coconut oil, olive oil work great. I felt a little sore after the first time I did mine. You have to do it consistently for it to be effective.

With 70/30 there is a lot extra to take into account. I personally don't know many, if any, people who are still using mixed insulin, except in poorer countries where they can't get anything else.
