I got my Hepatitis c test results today which took 123days(4 months) from last sexual exposure.
Results are:
HCV RNA PCR qualitative(20UI/ML) - Not detected
HCV IGG antibodies - Non reactive
HCV IGM antibodies - Borderline. Refernce range >1. My result is 1.120. Lab confirmed that the result is performed twice. Even they got another sample from me. I am in hell shock.
Only thing kept me going is Medhelp. So I waited for all these tests as discussed in forums many times.

I've suffered from multiple outbreaks of oral (Type 1) HSV for years. When I started prophylactic treatment with acyclovir, I saw a reduced occurrence for a few months, then they came back to about 4-5 outbreaks/year. I recently switched prophylactic medication from acyclovir to famciclovir, and had a 18-month period free from outbreak. Come yesterday, I had another terrible outbreak (worse than usual)... will these become more commonplace now? Is this a sign of HSV-resistance to the drug?
I'm interested in learning what helps naturally with keeping herpes at bay as it seems to be worsening for me. I tried the meds 16 years ago and realized they made outbreaks worse for me. I did the lysine pills from then on. My outbreaks would consist of one small lesion. Now I'm experiencing nerve pain in lower back, buttocks and thigh area and at least for lesions in a totally different area of skin than I'm used to. My butt pain is not subsiding.
Just 1 week before sexual exposure, I had finished taking Famciclovir 250mg for HSV-1 outbreak. And it cured.
After 123 days(4 months) from last risky sexual exposure and 130 days from FAMCICLOVIR completion, I took HSV2(IGM and IGG) test and it turned out negative. I did not got any symptoms on genital area.

The answer to your question would be to wait. As the itching will pass if it is Herpes with the use of Famciclovir.

To prevent frequent recurrence of genital warts, one can take medicines like Acyclovir, famciclovir, and valacyclovir. This is known as suppressive therapy and is very much effective in preventing recurrences. My advice is to consult a dermatologist and get it prescribed.
