Common Questions and Answers about What if i throw up after taking plan b

throwing-up

Avatar m tn I took plan B the 23rd of September and a week later exactly I started bleeding like my period. (This was the first time I had ever taken plan b.) It was normal red blood. Then the 5th it was lighter and I thought it was over, but then next day it was dark brown blood. It slowly started becoming more and now its back to normal red blood. What does this mean?
1354136 tn?1331875317 After taking a plan B pill, it can throw ur cycle off for the next 2 months and period seem irregular. If ur hpt's are coming negative then I wouldn't worry about it. You can always go to a doctor for a blood test if ur really stressing it, those are 100% accurate. But like I said, plan B does come with irregular cycle side effects.
Avatar f tn I seriously doubt it. Plan b can mess up your cycle some so I wouldnt worry.
Avatar f tn I dont think that this would effect the absorption of the pill though because this only happened once and i hadnt taken the pill anywhere near the time i threw up, so i didnt throw it up.
Avatar f tn My bf and I got intimate on 14 december 2014 and he rubbed his penis around my vagina and not inside it. But just for precaution I took Plan B after 28 hours. I had blood spotting (very less) on 30 december 2014 till 2 Jan 2015. My first day of last period was on 6 December 2014 so I am due on 3 jan 2015. I am confused if it was light period or just blood spotting? Also How can I be sure if Plan B has worked?
Avatar n tn i read the symptoms of the plan b it said that there would be spotting a couple of days after you take it. although i had bleeding after i took it i started bleeding about a week later for only about 8 hrs. i've been having random pains around my stomach once in awhile and stops not even a minute later. im confused if the plan b pill worked or not.. what do youu think?
Avatar m tn She missed her period by about 4 days, but she is getting pms symptoms and this morning she woke up throwing up and I thought it was morning sickness. But I read that plan B can make your period late and make you throw up days later. And yesterday (5 days after the sex) she took a pregnancy test and she wasn't pregnant. But I'm still scared that she might be Pregnant. And he period hasn't come yet and how late can it be before it does come.
Avatar f tn Will the plan B still work if I took the 2nd pill 9 hrs after I was supposed to?
Avatar m tn I am young, stupid, & a worry wart.. Here's my situation... I had unprotected sex & the following day I took the knock off brand Plan B...2 days later we ended up having sex.. he used protection, but said it didn't feel the same & proceeded to have sex without protection(stupid me again). I was so worried the next day that I took the knock off brand Plan B yet again...I'm not sure if I took it too soon after already taking 2 days prior..
Avatar f tn ve worked that way but unfortunately it did not we did not know if he had any pre-*** on his penis when he tried to put it in me, after that 22/23 hours later I took the Plan B pill. I get nasuas, my boobs hurt, I have cramps, do you think I'm pregnant or is this just the symptoms of this pill?
Avatar f tn I was so nervous about pregnancy that I took plan b about 26 hours later. I continued to take my BC like normal but about 2 days after I took plan b I threw up about 1 hour after I took my birth control. My husband and I haven't even had sex since then and I have about 8 days left on this pill pack. What are my chances of getting pregnant and will I be protected once I start my new pack?
Avatar f tn They are pretty effective, the plan B pills. I think you've been lucky to not have your period and cycle affected when you've taken it in the past. For most people, it messes them up for 2 to 3 months. It's a big dose of hormones so it mixes in with your regular hormones and can cause all sorts of things like bleeding when you're not supposed to, not bleeding when you want to, etc. My guess is you are not pregnant. 2.
Avatar f tn Hey Just want to know that what happenend after u was having a brown blood in your periods after taking plan b.
Avatar n tn how long has it been? not sure but i think plan b can be taken up to 72 hours after sex. amoxicillin can make birth control LESS effective, it doesn't completely cancel it out though. also have you checked to see if you were ovulating the day you had sex? an easy way to figure that out is go to babycenter.com and there is an ovulation calculator. when are you supposed to get your next period? i would just wait it out..
Avatar f tn My period was February 27th I had sex march 1st and took plan b. Then march 8th and took plan b but he didn't ejacuate.... I had sex march 20-22 in protected and he came inside me.
Avatar f tn Okay so I have a couple questions. I'm not on birth control and I had sex with my boyfriend and the condom broke but he did not finish so I went out and got plan b and took it AN HOUR AND A HALF after the incident. I'm mainly worried about the pre-ejaculation if there was any. This was friday and today is Sunday a week after. Since then I have had stomach pains, bloated ness and nausea.
Avatar f tn My period is in 5 days (the 21st) but all day today my stomach has been feeling upset like if I wanna throw up or something which I haven’t or anything and I’m just freaking out also my boobs are a little sore . Could i be pregnant ? Or could it still be side effects from the pill? Does the pill really last for this long in my system ?
1415407 tn?1389254933 I just found out I am pregnant with #2. Me and my husband have been using condoms as bc and well, there was a mishap one night so that next morning I went out and bought the Plan B pill. Turns out it didn't work. I guess I wanted to know if anyone else has gotten pregnant after taking the 72 hour pill and how their pregnancy went. I know it's supposed to be safe if you do get pregnant but I'm still scared.
Avatar m tn She was not ovulating, did not ovulate after taking the pill and has had no spotting since the week after taking the pill.
893889 tn?1294276977 you can definitely get pregnant after taking plan B, i took plan B with my third pregnancy and ended up pregnant anyway. I had just gotten used to the idea and miscarried at 12 weeks. so if you are pregnant get checked out right away! Plan B does throw off you cycle though like k10road said so those 4 days of bleeding may have been the start of a new cycle or have just thrown things off. .
Avatar f tn I had unprotected sex early morning and late night on the 9th of September where he ejcualted in me on both occasions. I took a plan b pill late night on September 11th almost 60 hours after intercourse. Today on the 23rd of September I had very light brown-pink discharge and light cramps this morning. It is now 12am and still no period. Could I be pregnant?
Avatar n tn Then I took a pregnancy test 34 days after taking the plan b pill and it was negative. So I just wanted to be sure that the pill worked and I in fact got pregnant this time in March instead of Feb. Just trying to figure how far along I am.
Avatar f tn I use to use the pull out method with my husband for almost three years and I never got pregnant. The reason why I am is bc we just let it up to God if whether of not we get pregnant and after three months of unprotected sex that's when I got pregnant. But do take extra precaution bc usually when u don't want pregnancy to happen it usually does lol. But i would talk to a doctor and get birth control.
Avatar n tn Since I had had unprotected sex on Thursday morning with my fiance (thinking it was wednesday) I took plan B on Saturday around noon and have since continued my birth control pills as normal. What are the chances I am pregnant? How soon can I figure out if I am pregnant?
Avatar n tn Don't be alarmed by the lack of menstruations after taking plan b, this is a common side effect. If you're still worried and haven't started your period after another month, you should visit your doctor or local clinic for a blood test, which is more accurate in detecting pregnancy. Also, plan b shouldn't be used frequently or as a source of birth control (>2x/yr), therefore use another form of birth control like condoms and/or the pill.
