Why are my cramps so bad to the point where every month I actually have to go on bed rest? Are there any all natural things that can help me?
Also, my moods are ridiculous. I almost have to lock myself away due to my mood swings out of fear people might think I'm losing my mind.
sometimes they can be strong and others not and sometimes they last long and other times they goaway. it feels like those cramps when your about to get your period. I don't know if these are Braxton hicks or contractions because I m a ftm. has anyone been through this. uhhhhh its so uncomfortable.
Hop in the shower and try to relax if they go away then it was just Braxton hicks. if it doesnt goawaygoAwaygo to the doctors to discard (which I dont and hope not) contractions. With Braxton hicks you will feel a tightness In ur belly and with contractions you will feel tightness and cramping also hope this helps.
Feels like menstrualcramps, bother a bit there irregular and eventually goaway believe me there nothing like real labor they will be constant 3-5 min apart n nothing u do whether u lay down n relax will make then go away ull know
Not sure if this is just normal but since 3 this afternoon I've been getting diarrhea type cramps and menstrual type cramps that are getting stronger with time. They don't go away with changing position or anything. Im 33 weeks.
Any advice?
It can be, yes. Your uterus is growing and expanding as the baby grows larger. This is going to put pressure on your entire lower portion of your body. Sometimes though these cramps can actually be contractions and as you're too early for baby to come this would be dangerous. Does it feel like a squeezing pain at all, or just normal menstrual cramps. For reassurance, you can also phone L&D or your doctor and explain the pain to them and see what they say about it.
Im 39 weeks pregnant, all day today ive been cramping (like menstrualcramps)and its been mild. Its been consistent... Not like contractions. Wednesday i went to the DR and i had a super high amount of protein in my urine & normal blood pressure. My.doc is concerned about preeclampsia. So i did a 24HR pee thing .. Which came back super elevated for protein. He told me to come back Monday to check my blood pressure. But today has been really painful with these cramps that havent went away.
First of all let me say I am deeply sorry for this and I am telling you how sorry I am because I know that people do not really understand what a person with severe menstrual cramps goes through. They see it as "oh...its just your period? well that's a normal part of life" and it is not very nice. I have the same issue as you are outlining and I have had it for years. I am no medical expert so I do not want put any fear in you because each person and their body is different.
I get nauseated especially in the mornings and sometimes eating helps. I have menstrualcramps most of the days but I'm not bleeding. I just feel like I have my af without bleeding. This is frustrating. Plus I have a negative test last saturday.
I am 15 weeks and have had bad cramping all day (I work on my feet all day) the cramps are low and feel like menstrualcramps. (No bleeding or spotting) I also have pain in my lower back. This is my first pregnancy and I don't know how much cramping is normal? Or when if ever its a problem. Any advice would be awesome!
When the uterus stretches it feels like menstrualcramps, mine were a but stronger than regular menstrualcramps. If they get unbearable I would call the doctor just to be safe.
I have the same question Im 7 dstart late I woke up this morning with little blood very light I'M having cramps in lower abdomen & vaginal area it's more of a pressure feeling & is a little uncomfortable?
I have severe menstrualcramps(I can feel them all the way to my chest) during my time of the month...I dnt kno why and just wondering does anyone else have this problem. So what do I do????
Everyone woman knows what a menstrual cramp is. It may come as a surprise to many that menstrualcramps have another name. The medical term for these abdominal and pelvic pains is “dysmenorrhea”. More than 50% of women are affected each month by a certain degree of dysmenorrhea, and 15% of those women are experiencing severe cramping.
Isn’t this PMS?
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that irregular cycles are common.
It can be quite normal to miss period now and then. If you continue to miss periods, for more than 3 months or more in between, you may need to have some hormoen levels checked. You may have a form of polycystic ovary disease and you may need to check with your provider for some medications to help regulate your periods.
Hope this helps!
Dr B!
re having is pregnancy related bleeding, and since you bled during your previous pregnancy, this might just be what your body does pregnant, I would still go to your doctor and request some blood work or an U/S.
