Common Questions and Answers about What does zegerid look like

Avatar n tn You're unfortunately asking another great question that doesn't have a definitive answer yet. They really don't understand what triggers esophageal spasms. It could be mis-firing nerves, it could be changes in blood flow, it could be due to changes in neurotransmitter output of either acetylcholine or nitric oxide, but the fact is that no one has an answer. What is known is that the spasms seem to occur more often in those with GERD.
Avatar n tn What does it look like and what to use to treat it with over the counter treatments? This discussion is related to boils.

Avatar f tn I get terrible heartburn and I dont know what to do with myself because I take Zegerid EVERY DAY!! This is starting to seriously interfere with my life, and work. I can't do much when I get stomach pains. Why does the zegerid not work sometimes? And how do i get rid of this terrible heartburn? and why do i have to keep taking it if there's nothing specifically wrong with me?
Avatar f tn I notice that when I sit for a long period I get a build up of gas in my stomach/intestines, resulting in passing gas. Also, it seems like no matter what position my head is in (sitting, standing, laying, slightly elevated...) I have acid in my throat up to my vocal chords and beyond. I think I am aspirating as my coughing has increased as it is hard to breathe... I cough to catch my breath, however, this can often lead to a burning acid coming into my throat, which hurts quite a bit.
Avatar f tn Hate the chalky taste but they seem to work, so I look past that. If that does not work, try Pepcid, Gaviscon, Prilosec OTC, Omeprazole, Pepto, Zegerid OTC, Equate Acid Relief or Alka-Seltzer. If you do not want to go to the store, try a quick remedy-- baking soda or cold milk. And also, you can use PregEase. It treats morning sickness and heartburn. It is clinically proven a safe choice with natural ingredients, so you do not have to worry about anything harming the little one.
