I've been to multiple doctors, but am still scared. I have what look like small pink pimples on my butt cheeks. I have tested negative for all STDs and have had a normal pap smear. The doctors have told me they are just pimples. Am I being crazy? Could these small pink butt cheek pimples be genital warts? Thanks.

The photo is too close up to tell anything, because we can't see tell what your eye area looks like, in relation to the rest of your face. I did address this in your other thread.

I was in disbeleif so I went and bought 5 more tests 2 of them blue dye, they all came out positive and that is what the blue dye tests looked like....the pink dye tests came out a little more clrealy...but non the less they were all positive. I would try a pink dye test to be sure but looks positive to me!! Congrats!!

From what we were told, it takes about 24 hours for her not to be contagious anymore. This morning, she woke up with what looks like blood in her eye. Almost one half of her eye (white part only) looks like it is filled with blood. I know it is probably just from a tear in her blood vessel...but could it be related directly to pink eye? It doesn't hurt her, just looks really gross! I am still putting the drops in her eyes and will do so for the next 4-5 days.

As far as I know, eye redness is not a symptom, and your eye will look completely normal. Even the head of the optic nerve might appear completely normal. All that means is the lesion isn't on the head of the optic nerve. More than likely it's retrobulbar (further back along the nerve). If you notice new symptoms or worsening vision that isn't due to heat or fatigue, you should see your neuro-ophthalmologist ASAP.

There is no 'typical' clearing of conjunctivitis ('pink eye is not a medical diagnosis and many things can make an eye pink). It's just like trying to predict how long a cold will last. If it doesn't respond quickly: it may not be conjunctivitis, if its bacterial it may not be susceptible to the antibiotic and often its a virus and antibiotics don't kill virus (like they don't help viral colds).

She said I had the bacterial type of pink eye and gave me a prescription for Tobramycin. I used it for seven days and had about 50% improvement, but the infectipon was still present. I went back yesterday and she put me on three days of prednisone --6 pill therapy and a new prescrition for Tobramycin for six more days. If this doesn't work--what are my options? I have read that Tobramycin can cause kidney damage. Are their other drugs to use?
