Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief.
Looking for members thoughts on these and the difference. I have been on both after a MVA and I have a very bad neck/back injury. Started w/ Flexeril (liked it, but couldn't take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms)

I have a decent but needy job so I need to do this around work. I have a bunch of Xanax and metaxalone (not sure if the muscle relaxers will help) but would love any additional suggestions that would help make this easier whilst holding down a full time job. Any ideas are welcome, seriously, just need some help here. Already feel like an idiot for getting this bad so don't want to go to my friends and my family are in another country.
Xanax 1mg (3 a day)I have horrible anxiety. Since soma has changed to class 3 they wont prescribe anymore. What is a good substitute-I was just reading that flexaril should be used short term b/c benefit max out after 2 wks. it doesn't bother me to change accept the soma really works., Any suggestions what to try that's a close alterative to soma?
Check out if he is upset by anything in his life has anything new happened , a move a new Baby ,a loss of any Family member,very often there have been happenings that have triggered the behavior, what do his Teachers say, does he get on with them , does he like school.No point in punishing him unless you know what has caused it .
You, by yourself can not do anything without him wanting to do it. You can haul his behind to an NA meeting, you can get him into rehab, you can even get him to my clinic and I will get him physically clean, but without his commitment and his desire to stay clean, all of it is useless. Suboxone is just another opiate, it does work for some, but again, a person needs to want to quit. Your brother does not.
