Do you have more symptoms during your menstrual cycle? I seem to notice a bit more numbness and find myself dropping things during this time. I wonder if it is because my body temperature seems higher at that time. I was just wondering since I have been dropping things all day! Have a great 4th everyone!
About a 4-5 days before I am supposed to start my cycle my temp. goes up to 99.4F and it makes all the symptoms I have like shaking, tremors, weakness, fatigue, mental fogginess get worse. Last month I felt like I was gonna jump out of my skin, I can feel my pants on my legs and it bothers me, also any touching feels almost painful, like my nerves are all excited and uncomfortable. I tried a Medrol dose pack last month and it did help by day 4 or so but don't want to ask for that again.
ok so i only had 1shot of depo my period never went away and when i was on the 3rd month i didnt get aperiod when i was do for my second shot i never went back and i got my period now 3 months later i miss a period is this part of the depo can after being off 3 month still mess up ur menstrual and i have had unprotected sex what are the chances of me being pregnant
I would like to hear from anyone who is Hypothyroid and has had/has irregular menstrual cycles that were extended and not stopping. My cycle is always normal/heavy (5-6days) except for this month. My flow lasted 5 days, however I am still bleeding @ day #11. Went to my doc and he checked me out, concluded that it is my hormones (which I figured anyhow), but would like to know what experience other have had with this issue.
It smell very bad so bad it seems to be loud and I work in retail and its embarrassing! I was very young when I started my menstrual cycle but never knew what to do about the smell. Its very embarrassing and it brings down my confidence. I feel like I'm always in the shadow ...So now that I have read majority comments I will be going to the Dr. Office tomorrow. Ill check back and update. THANK YOU LADIES FOR POSTING . YOU HELP ME OUT ALOT.
I don't know what to say about the menstrual cycle, sorry. But I do think she needs to have a gastric emptying scan to be evaluated for gastroparesis (or slow emptying of the stomach) which is common in people with POTS and can cause nausea and vomiting.
I am now 41 and I wonder if my menstrual cycle had anything to do with what happened to me? I have also suffered from endometriosis and infertility and my gyno at one time said I should have a hysterectomy. Since I hadn't given up hope of having at least one child, I chose not to. But I have had two heart ablations- one when I was 28yrs old and 3 days ago. I just wonder if there is some kind of connection.
Back to immune cycles - these are just starting to be understood by the medical research community. Like the menstrual cycle there is an immune cycle - but it switches on and off over 6 to 8 days not the 28 to 30 days of the menstrual cycle. if you are having symptoms of skin and other irritation/inflammation then the Inflammation will mainly occur as it switches on and build its activity over about 3 days.
what could cause shortness of breath during my menstrual cycle? this began when i was 11 years old and i've now been dealing with it for 28 years. some months are worse than others. it usually just lasts a few days but is miserable. it can begin a few days before my period starts or during my period. it seems to be a hereditary thing. my mother and grandmother had the same problem and my daughter also seems to have it. i've asked doctors about it and nobody seems to have any clue.
I sarted having brown/black blood after my just month long cycle. This cycle was different then all my other because it was very light, like a little more than spotting. My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex a few times but 98% of the time we use condoms. I dont't know if I could be pregnant or if something is wrong. Last time I went to the doctor I told him all of this and he really didn't give me an explanation and just put me on bc to regulate my cycle.
For those who have vaginal cuts/tears associated with HSV, what do they look like and how do they feel? I don't know if I have them because although the skin looks uneven, it feels smooth and doesn't bleed. Also, how long do they last? :( Terrified.
Being Low thyroid can result in having many menstrual irregularities including increased cramping and irregular timing of the cycle and variation in flow etc. So It is a chicken and egg thing. I personally think your thyroid issue is causing the menstrual issues, and not the other way around. Definately have your thyroid checked out. An enlarged thryoid gland (goiter) is fairly common.
This means that the baby isn't as old as it is supposed to be so naturally doesn't look like a 7 week fetus on ultrasound. In order to differentiate between what I describe above and a pregnancy that is not viable, the doctor is going to do a second ultrasound and measure whether or not the baby has grown. He/she will probably also order some blood tests. Your blood is drawn twice, 2-4 days apart and your hCG levels are compared.
When counting the cycle, the first day of blood flow is counted as Cycle day 1. The average duration of a cycle is 28 days but any cycle length between 21 and 34 days is considered normal. The average duration of flow is 4 days but anything from 2 to 7 days is considered normal. On a typical 28 day cycle, ovulation occurs on day 14. The menstrual period is always exactly 14 days after ovulation. The time from period end to ovulation is variable.
I had a lot of difficulty finding one that I didn't get break through bleeding and that wasn't high does - 50mg. After first child at 21 went back to roughly 5 week cycle, even with stress of having baby die in labor. At 22 had cin3 and had laser surgery to remove. I have HPV. At 28 had polyps removed. At 29 went off the pill again and cycles 4 weeks apart and then 8. At 30 had second 2nd child after finishing breast feeding cycles are again 8 weeks. At 32 had 3rd child.
northern - I agree 100% with what Jenny said and I just sent you a message.
have you had problems with them in the past at all. I tihnk it could have been the clomid... just like what happened to me this cycle. all I got was the brown. it did last for around five days though. I posted a new thread bout my NP visit today. it was really informative. I'm glad I made the change! its not all good news though. seems there is problems with my uterus that is causing more of a concern.
I guess half the population has this. It sounds like you may have the same thing as me??? Did they tell you what mutation (blood clotting disorder) you had???
I feel like my ovaries are pounding and twinging, so I hope that I ovulated late since I dont know what it is to get a menstrual cycle every month if I did ovulate this is normal for me late or not late the dr will let me know thurs whats going on.... Baby dust to all.....
30am when i wiped myself there was jelly looking stuff on the toilet paper and it was a strong yellow colour? does anybody know what that pain might have been? and what that jelly stuff was? and why was it that colour? i rang my doctors after work today and they werent very helpful at all :-( not that that surprised me.
Ok I was just reading up on O bleeding and it does sound like what I am experiencing...hmm..I never knew about that and I never noticed I had it before... it's wierd how much more I have been noticing these things the second time around and after the m/c....
Just thinking about how fun it would have been for them to grow up so close in age, thinking what ours would look like, what my labor would have been like, who would have visited in the hospital, etc. This month has been really bad for me...almost as bad as the month we lost ours...I think it would have been easier to handle this month if I were pregnant again. Anyway, I'm done being so negative and I'm going to try to change my attitude, it's just so hard!!
told me to just watch for a few months and see what it does. But possible yes from my C-section is mostly likely what caused it. ok thanks I think i will get in touch with Steph9803 i have questions.
Welcome to the thread, Marline, and Happy New Year to you too! What cycle day are you? I might also move on to IVF. My RE suggested taking this cycle off and start thinking about what to do next. We have a SA scheduled this coming week, and then we have to decide whether to do a more aggressive injectable/IUI cycle or move on to IVF. Best of luck with your appointment on Tuesday!
I don’t mind too much that things are moving slowly though, it has been nice to have a break from ttc and taking meds, and to get back into things I forgot I enjoyed like running (always great stress relief!). I’m pretty sure I won’t be doing it for much longer though - does anyone know what level of exercise, if any, is ok during IVF treatment? Would be great to hear how everyone is doing - what dosage of stims (gonal-f, follistim) will you be taking and how many embies will you transfer?
I want to make sure I dont miss.. and yes it does help much so that your doc can know what to do with you and help make things come alone... I will start my municex tom and I am so happy I am done with the clomid.. time for some BD lol... the municex help with the CM since I am on clomid 150mg the CM become more thick and that is not good for the lil swimmers so what ever I can do to help I will.. it works wonders n better then lube... My DH LOVE it too.
are there really two lines on First Response or what? What does that second line really look like? My blood test is scheduled for the 16th, but I can't help get down a little bit with the big ole negative. So, what if it is a big fat negative again next week? Do we just do the next cycle? I guess the answer is yes, but God, I wish it would happen this time around (and happen for all of us). How is everyone else doing?
my period is still not due for a week to a week and a half, and I've had no cramping whatsoever, and it looks like actual blood, not menstrual fluid, though it is getting heavier and darker now than it was before. I'm wearing a tampon just to keep it from leaking all over, though it didn't start actually coming out until I went to the bathroom. it was just sort of sitting there until I went pee, but then it was dripping and I didn't want a mess so I put the tampon in.
I went to the doc and took a blood pregnancy test so I wont know until Monday. She did look at my cervix and said nothing looks "outrageous" (I dont know what she meant by that) she was really rude.I really hope i am pregnant. And i pray its not a miscarriage.I do have bad back pain and slight abdomen pain..... ????
