Avatar m tn What is the proper treatment for NGU or just Urethritis? Is 1gm of Zithromax the preffered and correct treatment? Or is another medication better? Thanks.
Avatar f tn Well I had to have another dc today. That's two in six months. This time I made it to nine weeks had scan and all it showed was the sac no baby. Totally devasted. Wanted this baby so bad. Will only try once more can't handle another miscarriage. Has this happened to anyone else.

It means that there are too many people in DC who stand by party ideals and don't do whats right for the people.
Avatar n tn Sorry, I wasn't sure where to post this. I am totally freaking out and my doctor is blowing me off with "don't worry yet". I had a ct scan with contrast which they want to repeat in 3 months. The findings: The lungs are well expanded. Mild diffuse interstitial prominence is noted. This is non-specific but could be related to chronic or acute process. At the lung apices, there are speculated parenchymal opacities which appear to be pleural based.
Avatar m tn Those "stand up" crack heads in DC reelected confessed crack head Marion Barry.
Avatar n tn Should I request any other endocrine systems be tested (ie adrenals, B12, etc.)? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for doctors in the DC Metro area?
Avatar f tn Wow. Thanks, Molly. Do you live in he DC area? I wonder if I should go to another doctor. I don't think I need surgery - and I don't want surgery - at this point. I just wanted to see if he had recommendations for how I could manage my dizziness and pain (which is new).
Avatar f tn thank you for responding. what are some other test that they can do. what about the mri? does that mean anything?
Avatar f tn My experience with dystonia is very similar to yours. Treatment is a trial and error process that takes patience and time. What works for one person may not work for another. Your best bet is to work w/a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders. If you don't get good results, find another doctor. My doctor told me that even experts don't fully understand dystonia. If you're worried about side effects from Gabapentin, ask for a smaller dose and work up.
