Common Questions and Answers about What do itchy legs mean

I've even tried to not even shave my legs but i can't stand to not do that either because my legs will hurt when the hair on my legs get so long. I've tried to use lotions(non-scented and scented), alcohol, buffers, hair removal sprays and gels. I'm at my wits end at trying to find a cure for my itchy legs. I almost want to dip them in pure acid. what do I do about this recurring problem?
Dry scaly skin especially in the hands and legs may be a reaction to a product applied in the area. Do you frequently shave your legs? Do you use any cream or foam on your legs? Antihistamines and steroid creams may be able to help. Discuss this with your physician. Use only mild unscented creams to misturize the area.If you have noted any possible triggers, avoid these as much as possible.
Let me ask a few questions to try and find some common denominators. 1. what do you use for a cloth and soap when you do the dishes? 2. Have you bought any new footwear or socks lately or been wearing down there you hadn't before this got to be all the time? 3.Have you ever had this issue when you were younger? 4. Any new flooring or furniture? 5. you might think this is dumb but do you have a plastic shower curtain or what is it.6. 6.Do you use moisturizer after you shower. 7.

I have always been an active individual and use to run a lot. I gave up running a number of years ago now but have remained active. Ever since I tried to start running again I suffer from intense itching to the point where I just cannot run any longer. I definately didn't start off with a "vigorous exercise program".

when I was at the doctor for another reason I asked him, and he said that they didn't look like bites, but rather like something from inside me--like hives, is what I took him to mean, or an allergic reaction. Finally, after some internet digging, I asked a dermatologist I had to see for another reason a possibly leading question, and she said that yes, an injured tendon (why I saw the first doctor) can produce a burst of histamines which could cause itchiness and something like hives.
My legs are soooo itchy!!! I keep putting on lotion every time it gets really itchy! I itch so hard, I end up getting cuts and scrapes on my legs! I want to help him, but i don't know what to do if they don't get the right information. I told them to write the test results down so I can see them. He is going into the hospital tomorrow to have the fluids drained since the pills are not working. I have given him all the paperwork that I found, thanks to this site, for getting ssd, and he is fillig them out. His girlfriend is going to make an appt for him. He is taking lactulose and that has helped his speech.
Just my lower legs though--nowhere else. I use a combo of benadryl ointment and oral benadryl, which of course puts me to sleep so I can't take it during the day.
your rash sounds somewhat like eczema to me. The itching in various sites could be eczema, or it could be anxiety from worrying about the eczema in the groin. (your detailed description of sore throat and bloating suggests concern with body sensations that is probably irrelevant and not doing you any good.
I started getting really red itchy bumps (only on my legs) about a week ago. No answer This only happened after the bath. I still do not know what is the reason. I tried a cream called Lidex, very cheap for generic, it worked great. But the rash comes and goes. to end the reoccurance of it would be a blessing. I would love to know what it is. it itches and burns and drives me crazy. If anyone could shed light, it would be greatly appreciated.
In both cases it is worse (by which I mean more itchy, I can't see if there are more spots or not) on my right side than on my left. They are light pink in colour and seem to have spread some. Nothing is present on the front of my body. There are one or two bumps which I can see that seem to be a little bigger than the others and could possibly by spider bites, but I have had spider bites in the past with none of these symptoms. Thank you very much for your help!

I am itchy all over, except for the two areas that were previously affected. I litterally mean all over. My legs my arms, my back. Recently the sides of my hands by my thumb down to my wrist broke out in to what looks to be hives. I've pretty much decided this is all due to stress. My main question is, should I go see my doctor again? If its due to stress I obviously need to work on my deep breathing skills etc.
I have a dark spot (pale black, not raised) on my leg and one much lighter (not noticable that much) under my lower lip. First I thought these are mosquito bites as they were red and itchy. after a few days the itch and redness was gone and they became less noticable. But the wiered thing is every few months they both at a same time become red and a bit raised and itchy for a few days just like they have been biten recently. this has been happening for the third time during last year.

Blood tests and stuff they can authorize yes, but what codes do they put into their computers to know what to test or look for if they can't even decide what they may be dealing with, and then it goes back to what they've found on their trustworthy p.c's of laziness, lack of money or lack of time...
